    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a normal operation with no chattering by providing a hole IC detecting the actual revolving speed of a motor, and assembling an electronic power device cutting off an auxiliary winding circuit when the actual revolving speed of the motor reaches the predetermined cutoff revolving speed into the electric circuit of the motor. SOLUTION: The electric circuit of a motor is provided with a hole IC4 detecting the actual revolving speed of the motor. A control device 5 setting the cutoff revolving speed and recovery revolving speed of an auxiliary winding circuit and an electronic power device 6 cutting off the auxiliary winding circuit when the motor reaches the prescribed revolving speed are assembled into the electric circuit of the motor. A split-phase start motor starts rotating by the excitation to a main winding 2 and an auxiliary winding 3 for an operation, and the electronic power device 6 cuts off the excitation to the auxiliary winding 3 when the IC 4 detects that the actual revolving speed of the motor reaches the numerical value set by the control device 5. The cutoff timing is slightly delayed by the control device 5, thus acceleration torque is generated, and a normal operation can be conducted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an operation of a metering pump which does not need to provide a metering tank causing a high cost, which can conduct an accurate constant flow rate operation even corresponding to the continuous change of water level in a flow rate regulation tank, and which can prevent retention or deposition of a foreign matter in a pipe in a constant flow rate transfer of a waste water from the flow rate regulation tank to a treatment tank in a waste water treatment facility.
      SOLUTION: The method for controlling the operation of the metering pump includes feeding back of a signal from an electromagnetic flowmeter 3 to an inverter 2 for controlling a rotational speed of a pump 1 or an external controller 4, and automatically regulating of a rotating speed so as to become a constant discharge rate beforehand set to the inverter 2 or the external controller 4 by using together the inverter 2 and the electromagnetic flowmeter 3 for actually measuring the discharge rate. Also, the method includes conducting of a cleaning operation in which the rotating speed is raised immediately after or immediately before the start of the pump 1 or only for a limited preset constant time immediately after the start or immediately before the stop.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an underwater pump from being affected by external factors such as the load state and ambient temperature by setting the cutoff timing of an auxiliary winding circuit based on the numerical value directly detected with the actual revolving speed of a motor via a hole IC. SOLUTION: An electronic power device 6 has a role for cutting off an auxiliary winding circuit when a motor reaches the prescribed revolving speed. When a main winding 2 and an auxiliary winding 3 are excited, a capacitor start motor is rotated to start the operation of an underwater pump. When a hole IC detects that the actual revolving speed of the motor reaches the numerical value optionally set by a control device 5 in advance, the excitation to the auxiliary winding 3 is cut off by the electronic power device 6, and the underwater pump is switched to the normal operation conducted by the excitation to the main winding 2. The cutoff timing is slightly delayed by the control device 5, thus acceleration torque is generated, and the normal operation with no chattering can be realized.
