    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive type pressure control device for controlling the interior of a closed module to the negative pressure very small compared with the atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: An air buffer 1 is set on a floor surface of an airtight container 2, and contents 11 and 12 connected with the atmospheric side respectively through valves and ducts 9 and 10 connected with the atmospheric closed module on the end of the duct 7 respectively through valves are provided. When atmospheric air is drawn into the air buffer 1 closing valves 3 and 6 and opening valves 4 and 5 and the airtight container 2 is connected with the closed module through the duct 7, the internal pressure of the airtight container 1, namely the interior of the closed module, is retained to negative pressure to the atmospheric pressure at all times by the deformation of a film material caused by the self-weight of the film material of the air buffer 1. Also when the open and closed ends of the valves are reversed and the air buffer 1 is connected with the closed module and the airtight container 2 is opened to the atmosphere, the closed module can be controlled to the positive pressure by the portion of volume fluctuation caused by the self-weight of the film material of the air buffer 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a minute positive pressure by suppressing pressure variation at the time of exchanging air between two closed modules in a closed system experiment equipment for executing plant cultivation or animal breeding. SOLUTION: This closed system facility is provided with a valve 23 arranged on the downstream side from an air cleaner 2 in a circulation duct 3 of a closed module 1, a flow rate regulating valve 25 and a valve 24 in a connection duct 35 connected to the downstream side of a valve 28 arranged in a circulation duct 29 of a closed module 30, and a flow rate regulating valve 26 and a valve 27 respectively on the upstream side of the valve 28 and the downstream side of the valve 23. In the case of exchanging air between the closed modules 1, 30, the valves 23, 24 are closed, the valves 24, 27 are opened and valve opening degree controllers 45, 47 respectively control the opening degree of the valves 25, 26 in accordance with the positive/negative of a pressure difference value between the upstream side module and the downstream side module to automatically balance the pressure between the two modules.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the pressure difference between a closed space and the outside air pressure and miniaturize the device as a whole, by absorbing the pressure change of the closed space and keeping it in a certain fine positive pressure, owing to the volumetric chance caused by the movement of the airtight container connected to the closed space, necessitating the protection against the pressure change in the space. SOLUTION: A pressure control system to examine the circulation of substances by plants is constituted of a plurality of rubber buffers 200 absorbing the ordinary outside air pressure change and the pressure change of a plant- cultivation section 100 constituted of a closed space completely cut off from the outside air, by the volumetric change of the movement thereof and a pipe 110 connecting the plant-cultivation section 100 and the rubber buffers 200. The rubber buffer 200 made of chloroprene rubber in which nylon fibers are woven to have flexible and light-weight characteristics absorbs the pressure change of the plant-cultivation section 100 by increasing or dectreasing the volume in a fine pressure difference between the presure in the section and the outside air pressure and keeps the section in a fine positive pressure and prevents the penetration of the outside air.
