摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in the picture quality and to sufficiently improve noise reduction effect by providing a means which varies a feedback coefficient of a coefficient multiplication circuit and detects a low level area where the absolute value of a difference component between the input signal and a signal from a delay circuit is a value or below in a video tape recorder or the like. CONSTITUTION:An input signal Xi is subtracted from an m-bit signal Yi supplied from a delay circuit 5 by a subtraction circuit 2 and an (m+1)-bit of difference component (Yi-Xi) is obtained. A low level detection circuit 4 detects a level of the supplied difference component (Yi-Xi), a variable coefficient multiplication circuit 3 is controlled in response to the detected level to set the feedback coefficient K. The variable coefficient multiplication circuit 3 multiplies the supplied difference component (Yi-Xi) by K, rounds the (m+1)-bit of data (e.g., digit of 2 is rounded off) and the result is supplied to an adder circuit 1. The adder circuit 1 adds the signal K(Yi-Xi) to the input signal Xi and the m-bit signal Zi being the result of addition is outputted and fed again to the delay circuit.

摘要： PURPOSE:To record/reproduce two video signals simultaneously without lowering the recording density by converting the time base of one of the two video signals that originally are positioned in the same frequency band, and recording them in areas that are shifted from each other in the depth-direction of a magnetic medium. CONSTITUTION:One video signal V1 isrecorded/reproduced in the same way as conventional, but the other one V2 is recorded/reproduced after whose time base is converted by an A/D converter 12, a memory circuit 13, and a D/A converter 14. This time base conversion provides that the frequencies of the two video signals come to different from each other, and they are recorded in the locations different from each other in the depth-direction of the magnetic tape. In such a way, two video signals can be simultaneously recorded/ reproduced on the same magnetic medium without lowering the recording density.

CONSTITUTION:When a picture recording command is issued, in case of consecutive image picking-up, every other ones of the already-formed tracks on a magnetic tape 1 are re-recorded by either video head 2 or 3. Then, a counter 10 counts up output pulses from a NAND gate 12, and when the counting reaches a prescribed value, the video heads 2 and 3 writes video signals consecutively on the magnetic tape 1. Thus, immediately after the command of a recording command, new video signals are intermitently recorded on every other tracks, and this recording is repeated for a duration of several fields. Thereafter, the recording turns to be continuous. As a result, a visual effect of gradual shifting of scenes can be obtained.

According to such operation, even when the noise part is reproduced, the horizontal synchronizing signal can be obtained continuously.

摘要： PURPOSE:To separate correctly a vertical synchronizing signal from a disturbed composite synchronizing signal by sampling a composite synchronizing signal and counting a clock in response to the obtained sampling data. CONSTITUTION:An up/down counter 7 applies up-count when a composite syn chronizing signal (a) is at a high level ('H'), and applies down-count when at a low level ('L'). Thus, up-count is applied during the horizontal and vertical synchronizing periods and down-count is applied between the signals. The up- count mode and the down-count mode of the counter are decided depending on the 'H' and 'L' level of the composite synchronizing signal and the clock frequency is switched depending on the up-count mode and the down-count mode so as to detect a vertical synchronizing signal by digital processing.
