摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a central processing unit(CPU), to remove unnecessary data copying and to attain efficient processing in an information processing system by allowing another processor to execute sorting or the like in table calculation e.g. by using a temporary file. CONSTITUTION:A temporary file is formed in a local memory 4 to be directly accessed from the CPU 1 and a program for sorting or the like is loaded from an external storage device 5. A program driven in the CPU 1 specifies one or more temporary files stored in the local memory 4 as objects to be processed, specifies the program loaded to the memory 4 as a processing means and commands a local processor 3 to execute processing. The processor 3 starts the specified program, processes the specified temporary file group and returns a processed result to the program driven in the CPU 1.

An information generation part 106 inputs an original slip on which the data are not described beforehand from the FAX, recognizes the ruled lines and then, prepares the interval table 113 of the ruled lines and the length and position table 114 of the ruled lines. Then, when the pictures for which the data are described on the same format are received, the ruled lines are detected in the ruled line detection part 105 and a ruled line interval and the length and position of the ruled line are compared by utilizing an operation area 118 in a ruled line comparison part 107. Then, the line is found out and the pictures are eliminated in an unrequired ruled line elimination part 108.
