    • PURPOSE: To reduce the noise from a cooling fan without decreasing the cooling capacity by a method wherein a noise insulating member is arranged on an operator side on the front surface of a cooling system at the lower part of the system abutting against the floor surface so that a muffling device may be composed of the soundproof wall of a noise insulating material and the floor surface. CONSTITUTION: Within the data processor arranged on a floor surface 6, a cooling suction hole 11, a high temperature generating part 8 and a cooling fan 2 are arranged on almost horizontal surface. Next, the cooling fan 2 is driven for sucking outside low temperature air to be circulated while becoming high temperature by taking in the heat generated by a high temperature generating part 8 to be exhausted through an exhaust hole 7. At this time, the exhausted air passes through an exhaust path 10 comprising the bottom surface 9 and the floor surface 6. In such a constitution, the noise insulating member 3 is provided on the operator side on the front surface thereby enabling the disagreeable high temperature exhaust flow running to the operator to be avoided also the noise made by the cooling fan 2 and air flow to be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply wherein a dry up phenomenon can be suppressed in a smoothing capacitor of a power supply that is stopped and started on the secondary side like power supplies in compliance with the ATX standard.
      SOLUTION: When a secondary-side power supply is stopped, switching of a switching transistor 120 is stopped by a PWM control circuit 121, and further a boosting circuit 115 is stopped. When the voltage of the secondary-side power supply is detected and determined to has fallen below a preset voltage, control is carried out by an operating coil 123 so that the following is implemented: a first relay contact 125 connected between the boosting circuit 115 and the smoothing capacitor 116 is opened; and a second relay contact 118 connected in parallel with the smoothing capacitor 116 together with a discharge resistance 117 is closed.

Therefore, when two-dimensional display is performed in a three-dimensional display device and the picking processing is performed, the picked objective graphic can be retrieved only by reading the graphic management information stored in the Z buffer 7. Thus, responsiveness can be improved.
