摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali silicate compsn. which does not need a complicated in-situ mixing process, which is homogeneous and has enough hardness, which can maintain the fluidity and usable time required for building work, which can prevent efflorescence and which shows improved water resistance. SOLUTION: Four powdery components described below are homogeneously mixed in one pack state. The four components are a powdery alkali silicate which is soluble in water and is expressed by M2 O.SiO2 .qH2 O, wherein M is one alkali metal element of Li, Na and K, a powdery barium salt expressed by BaO.rSiO2 .sH2 O having a soluble content of barium ion in an alkali soln., a powdery silicon phosphate expressed by tSiO2 .P2 O5 having slow-releasing property of the phosphate component, and a reactive powdery aluminum oxide hydrate expressed by Al2 O3 .uH2 O. The components are mixed in such a manner that to 100 pts.wt. of the alkali silicate, the barium component, phosphate component and aluminum component are mixed by 0.1 to 10 pts.wt., 1 to 40 pts.wt., and 10 to 50 pts.wt., respectively.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a disposal device compact and make the secondary waste in the condition of being easily disposed of. SOLUTION: Activated carbon is mixed into a waste liquid collecting tank 17 filled with radioactive waste liquid containing surfactant. Thereafter, the radioactive waste liquid is supplied into an activated carbon separation and drying device 22, and the activated carbon is separated from the radioactive waste liquid. The waste liquid separated from the activated carbon is discharged into outer environment through a sample tank. The separated activated carbon is dried in the activated carbon separation and drying device 22, led into an incinerator, and burned. Because the separated activated carbon is dried, the activated carbon as secondary waste is made into the condition of being easily disposed of, namely the condition of being easily reduced in volume by incineration or the like. Further, because removal of activated carbon from radioactive waste liquid and drying of the separated activated carbon are executed in the activated carbon separation and drying device, the disposal device of radioactive waste liquid can be made compact.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need of newly installing a powder granulation line and of remodeling a granulator by a method wherein hot water and a solidification material are supplied to a kneading machine, the temperature of a substance to be kneaded is held at a specific temperature or higher and a powder and a pellet are charged and kneaded so as to be filled into, and solidified in, a solidification container. SOLUTION: By using a pellet takeout device 2, a pellet is taken out from a pellet storehouse 1 so as to be kept in a pellet storage tank 3. The pellet is discharged to a powder separator 4 from the pellet storage tank 3. The pellet is separated from a powder. A melting operation is performed by a pellet metering device 5 and a powder metering device 6 in such a way that the total amount of the pellet and the powder amounts to about 200 kg. As a solidification material, high-performance cement is used. First, hot water and solidification material are charged, in this order, into a kneading machine 10 so as to create a solidification-material paste. The pellet and the powder of waste are charged into the paste so as to be kneaded. At this time, the temperature of the hot water is adjusted to about 33 deg.C or higher in such a way that soda sulfate is not decahydrochlorinated at the temperature of a kneaded substance. Thereby, the pellet can be solidified stably.

摘要： PURPOSE:To process a radioactive waste liquid from washing which is produced by an atomic power plant, nuclear fuel reprocessing plant, or any radioactive nuclear species handling facility, in such a manner that the waste liquid is turned safe and the amount of generated waste is minimized. CONSTITUTION:A waste liquid from washing where a detergent is used which chiefly contains a nonionic series surface active agent and a builder of inorganic material, is concentrated by an evaporative concentrator 3, and the concentrated liquid is fed into a rotary centrifugal dryer of thin film type to be dried and pulverized, and the resultant dry powder is put in a baking process. Use of this detergent allows reducing foaming at the time of concentration and also easy drying and pulverizing of the concentrated liquid. Further it is possible to make baking stably and safely and without giving ill influence upon an incinerator 6 at the time of baking. Thus the waste liquid from washing can be treated conveniently and safely, and the final amount of waste material can be minimized.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the volume reducibility of pellets without adding a binder thereto by adding a prescribed volume of water to incineration ashes and subjecting the ashes to compression molding, then curing the formed pellets hermetically for a prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:A constant feeding valve 4 is operated to transfer the whole amt. of the incineration ashes from a measuring device 3 to a mixer 5. While agitating vanes 7 are rotated by operating a motor 8, the prescribed volume of the waster is added to the ashes from spray nozzles 6 via a constant feeding pump 20 from a water storage tank 9. The incineration ashes absorbing the water are pelletized by using a pelletizer 11. The pellets are filled in a container 13; thereafter, the container is capped and the pellets are cured in a hermetic state.

After elapsing a specific time, the liquid fluid is exhausted into a washing water receiver tank 22. Then, dried air is supplied in the mixer 5 and the inside is dried. As the switch valve 3 is closed, cement amount uselessly wasted by washing is reduced.
