    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively control the decrease in noise and the increase in an output signal by inclining the incidence direction of a magnetic particle from the vertical direction of a substrate surface and setting the reverse magnetic domain size in a medium to a specific value or less for a desired track direction when forming a recording magnetic film used for a magnetization constituent being perpendicular to a recording surface. SOLUTION: When a recording magnetic film is formed on a substrate, the incidence direction of a magnetic particle is inclined from the normal direction of a substrate surface to, for example, a direction that is parallel to a track, thus inclining the growth direction of a crystal particle and inclining the axis of easy magnetization in a direction that is parallel to the track, thus reducing the size of a reverse magnetic domain 5 to 40nm or less for a direction that is perpendicular to the recording surface and decreasing a medium noise. On the other hand, the size in the direction that is parallel to the track is extended, so that the fluctuation of a bit boundary part 6 increases and an output signal decreases. Therefore, a method for inclining in the direction that is parallel to the track is suited for a head for increased output signal such as an MR head. In the case of an inductive head, the incidence direction is inclined in a direction being vertical to the track.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording device capable of achieving recording density exceeding 2 terabits per square inch in microwave-assisted recording.SOLUTION: The width of a main magnetic pole 5 and the width of a high-frequency magnetic field generation layer 2 are set to the substantially same for compensating shortage in high-frequency magnetic field intensity and deterioration in high-frequency magnetic field intensity gradient due to narrowing of the width of the high-frequency magnetic field generation layer. Further, a position where a change in a high-frequency magnetic field component that is effective in magnetization inversion is maximized and a position of the reversed magnetic field intensity of a recording medium in the high-frequency magnetic field (intensity and frequency) for use in a head magnetic field are made to match each other.
