    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title apparatus having a simple structure, reduced in pressure loss and capable of certainly removing foreign matter, by automatically operating a drift generating valve, a filter member and a foreign matter withdrawal valve arranged in specific positional relations to remove the foreign matter. CONSTITUTION:In this foreign matter removing apparatus 11, filter members 4 are provided around a partition plate 8 in a body 3 and a drift generating valve 5 is provided on the upstream side or lateral side of the partition plate 8, and foreign matter withdrawal pipe 6 and a foreign matter withdrawal valve 7 are provided on the downstream side of said partition plate 8. When foreign matter is adhered to the filter members 4 and differential pressure rises, the drift generating valve 5 is rotated so as to become parallel to the filter members 4 and parallel flow is generated to allow the foreign matter 10 adhered to the filter members 4 to move to the downstream side and, by opening the foreign matter withdrawal valve 7, said foreign matter is discharged out of the system through the foreign matter withdrawal pipe 6 provided on the downstream side. As a result, the apparatus having a simple structure, reduced in pressure loss and capable of certainly removing the foreign matter mixed with the cooling water used in a tubular heat exchanger can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent recirculation of foreign matters while eliminating count error of cleaning matters at the time of constant collection by separating foreign matters from cleaning matters, discharging the foreign matters to the outside of the system and feeding the cleaning matters to a counter. SOLUTION: A foreign matter/cleaning matter inlet pipe 1 is coupled with a cleaning matter catcher and cleaning matters 10 used for cleaning is collected and fed through the foreign matter/cleaning matter inlet pipe 1 into a foreign matter crushing vessel 2. In the foreign matter crushing vessel 2, foreign matters 9, e.g. shells, sink but the cleaning matters 10 float to advance through a cleaning matter outlet pipe 7 toward a counter. The sunken foreign matters 9 are crushed by a crushing disc 3 and discharge through a pole 4 for preventing flow-cut of cleaning matter and a foreign matter outlet pipe 6 to the outside of the system. A disc pushing part 8 is pushed hydraulically to crush the foreign matters 9. A tube 5 with male and female slits assists vertical movement of fluid in the foreign matter crushing vessel 2 with respect to the crushing disc 3 while preventing intrusion of the foreign matters 9 and the cleaning matters 10 to the upper side of the crushing disc 3.

SOLUTION: A cleaning device for cleaning the fine pipe of a condenser of steam power and nuclear plants by passing numberless cleaning bodies has an upper suction type V Shape cleaning body gathering device, which is provided so as to collect a foreign article including a marine creature such as a shell and a residual cleaning body in a system by always closed lattice 2. At this time, an usual collection of the cleaning body is carried out through the upper suction pipe 6 installed on a lower straightening vane (fixed part) 3 and when the pressure difference between the front/ rear of the lattice 2 is increased, the upper straightening vane (swing part) 4 is swung and an eddy flow, reverse cleaning flow and suction force are applied to the lattice 2 surface. Thereby, the foreign article such as the shell caught by the lattice 2 and the cleaning body can be peeled off and collected efficiently.
