    • PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in weight of a developing device by adding devices to the constitution of the device thereby decreasing the temperature rise of the developer and make the fluidity of the developer stable and good. CONSTITUTION:A fixed amount of the developer mixed in a developer mixing part 2 is well dropped down and flowed out by a developer feeder 21, etc. and an outflow control member 6 of an opening 5 having a fall in position relation by a tapered face and is conveyed by a magnetic roller 10 for conveying developer. The developer is forced upward by the conveying member 13 formed by the tapered plate between this 10 and a magnetic roller 7 for development installed diagonally above, thus the development of a photosensitive drum 15 by the magnetic brush of the roll 7 is accomplished. Thence, the development by a similar magnetic roller 16 is accomplished. The excess developer is returned to the mixing part. With this constitution, the flow of the developer becomes uniform and fixed; in addition, the circumferential distance of the sleeve of the roll 10 may be reduced by the spaced rolls 7, 10 and this results in decreased temperature rise of the developer. Hence, the developing device of stable and good fluidity of the developer, a small size and light weightness is provided.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent bridging in a toner containing case and make the distribution of the toner into said case uniform with simple constitution by applying the thrust force in the lengthwise direction of said case to the toner by the rotation of the vane wheels provided within said case. CONSTITUTION:The toner 13 charged into a toner feed hopper 8 falls into a toner containing case 8 through the bottom opening. A revolving shaft 10 with toner stirring blades freely rotatably and axially supported for the entire part in the lengthwise direction of the case 8 is provided to the central part of said case 8 for the purpose of preventing the toner 13 from bridging and of stirring the same. The toner stirring blades 11 are not of flat plates and are made into the construction that thrust is given to the toner 13 by the rotation of the vane wheels. There is a toner replenishing pawl wheel 12 in the bottom end part of the case 8 and the toner 13 is given the force for moving in the right direction within the case 8 from the underside of the hopper 9 by the rotation of the vane wheel shaft 10. By changing the installation intervals of the vane wheels 11 or combining those of different thrusts, the best conditions may be determined empirically.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the developer from stagnating in a detecting case to which an inductance change detecting coil is mounted and accurately detect the change in toner concentration by letting the opening widths that said detecting case forms with a magnet roll for discharging satisfy the specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The developer 1 in a detecting case 7 is led to outside the detecting case 7 by a rotating magnet roll 8 for discharging and the rate of its outflow is limited by the pass width (c) of the portion (gamma) by the outflow rate limiting plate 9 mounted roughly at the center in the bottom end opening of the detecting case 7 and the opening width (a) of the portion (beta) at the bottom end of the detecting case 7. On the other hand, in the bottom end portion (alpha) of the detecting case 7, the developer 1 equal to the opening width (b) attracted on the roll 8 advances into the detecting case 7. The opening width (b) is made smaller than (a) and more than zero and the difference (a-b) of the two opening widths is set at the optimum rate of discharge of the developer at which a coil 6 actuates properly. The limiting pass width (c) by the limiting plate 9 is so constituted as to assume a value of a-(a/2- b/2) or b+(a/2-b/2).

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the prevention of deposition of powder and granular materials on a level detecting vibrator and enable the detector to operate surely even for powder and granular materials of high cohesive and adhesive forces by forcefully vibrating the vibrator such as tuning fork, tuning bar of the like with natural frequency. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage of an oscillating circuit 4 generating voltage at the frequency nearly equal to the natural frequency of a tuning bar 1 is applied to an electrostrictive vibrating element 3a, the tuning bar 1 is forcefully vibrated by the natural frequency and this causes the electrostrictive vibrating element 3b to generate an electric signal. After this signal is amplified with an amplifier 5, it is converted to an arbitrary signal in a signal processing circuit 6. Now, when powder or granular material touches the tuning bar 1 and restrains the same, the vibrations of the tuning bar 1 attenuate or stop, but when there is no more powder or granular material, the tuning bar 1 again begins to make separate excitation vibration. This enables the level of the one restraining the vibration of the tuning bar 1 to be detected by the output voltage of the amplifier 5 and the powder or granular material depositing on the tuning bar 1 to be readily shaken off by the forceful separate excitation vibration of the tuning bar 1, thus making possible the sure level detection.

    • PURPOSE:To enlarge a control plate gap and to prevent a developer from clogging by setting a pitch of magnetic poles to 4-11mm, at the time of providing a magnetic roller having a pair of magnetic poles of the N pole and the S pole, and a non-magnetic sleeve for covering said roller, in the vicinity of a photosensitive body on which an electrostatic latent image has been formed. CONSTITUTION:On a photosensitive body 1 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, a magnet roller 3 surrounded by a non-magnetic sleeve 2 is provided through a control plate 4 having an opening part, and in the rear of this roller 3, a stirring member 7 for mixing a carrier and a toner of a developer is provided. These are surrounded by a case connected to the control plate 4, and in addition to the foregoing, a scraping plate 6, a toner replenishing roller 10, and a toner hopper 11 are provided in the case. Also, to the sleeve 2, a power source 5 is connected, and a magnetic brush tuft 8 is generated on the surface of the sleeve 2. In such constitution, a pitch of the magnetic poles of N and S provided on the roller 3 is prescribed to 4-11mm, and the opening of the control plate 4 can be enlarged.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently remove deposited carrier without being affected by the magnetic permeability of the carrier by forming a slender opening which sucks air at the end of the opposing magnetic poles, approaching the end thereof to a recording body and making combination use of magnetic force and suction force. CONSTITUTION:The device is made into the constitution comprising forming a slender opening 6 composed of opposing magnetic pole ends by the respective one ends of magnetic material members 7, 7', closely fitting a nonmagnetic material member 8 to the other ends of these two magnetic material members, inscribing and installing a rotatable bar-form magnet 9 to both magnetic material members 7, 7' and sucking air from one end of a long barrel in the arrow direction at all times. The slender opening 6 is installed in proximity to the surface of the recording body 1 having the toner images and before the toner images are transferred to the recording paper. Thereby, the magnetic force attraction force that affects the deposited magnetic carrier becomes stronger, the removal efficiency may be improved and even the foreign matter, etc. of weak magnetism may be removed because the suction force of air is used in combination.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent deposition of powder and granules on electrode bodies and accurately perform detection of powder and granule levels by forcefully exciting the electrode bodies forming a level detecting element. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic capacity between plate form conductors 1a, 1b changes according to the levels of powder and granules when their dielectric constants are constant. This change causes the output frequency of an oscillator 2 to change and the output voltage corresponding to the input frequency of a frequency voltage converter 3 decreases as the level of the powder and granules lowers and the capacity between the conductors 1a, 1b decreases, whereby the levels of the powder and granule are detected. In this case, magnetostrictive vibrating elements 4a, 4b are driven to forcefully vibrate the conductors 1a, 1b by turning ON a changeover switch 6, whereby deposition of the powder on the conductors is prevented, the powder bridging between the conductors 1a, 1b eliminated and the level detection of the powder and granules made sure.
