摘要： PURPOSE:To perform excellent commutation without using accessories for improving commutation by arranging an armature coil to be subjected to final commutation at the upper parts of slots to reduce the leakage inductance. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a plurality of, for example, two armature coil sides are accommodated in a slot, an armature coil 4a connected to commutator segments 2a and 2b and to be subjected to initial commutation by means of a brush 1 is wound around the lower parts of slots 3a and 3b, and an armature coil 4b connected to commutator segments 2b and 2c and to be subjected to final commutation by the brush 1 is wound around the upper parts of slots 3a and 3b. By these procedures, the inductance of the armature coil 4b to be subjected to final commutation is decreased, and hence excellent commutation can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a ceramic sliding collector to be applied to a rotating electric machine, though the ceramic material being strong against compressive force and weak against tensile strength causes cracks or breakage by the tensile strength on the side of inside diameter when press-fit directly in a shaft, etc., in the case of being used for the armature, etc., of a rotating electric machine. CONSTITUTION:A gap is made between the inside of a ceramic armature 4 and the outside of a shaft 8, and a resin layer 4d is made by charging thermosetting resin, etc., into this gap so as to fix it. Accordingly, the stress is absorbed by the resin layer 4d, so it can be fixed certainly to the shaft 8 by preventing the cracks or breakage of a ceramic armature 4, thus the mounting to the rotor can be performed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce brush spark on dynamic brake and perform brake action exactly, by winding up windings in a state of field windings for dynamic brake shifted positionally from field windings for motor drive in the anti-rotational direction of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a main pole core 3 is set on the inner peripheral side of a ring-formed yoke 2, and is wound up with field windings 4 for motor drive and field windings 5 for dynamic brake, then brushes 14 in sliding contact with a commutator on the side of an armature 8 are set to be positionally shifted to Y-Y' on the reverse-rotational direction side of a rotor with respect to a neutral axis X-X'. Besides, the field windings 5 for dynamic brake are wound up to be positionally shifted from the field windings 4 for motor drive, on the anti-rotational side. By this method, short-circuit current on dynamic brake can be reduced, and brush spark is reduced and the rise of a main magnetic flux is improved, and so the brake action can be exactly performed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a commutator with a built-in capacitor for reducing sparks generated in a commutating period in the commutator to be usedfor a rotary machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:Metal or ceramic is used for conductive segments of a commutator, and capacitors are formed in insulation segments, so the conductive segments and the insulation segments having the capacitors are provided. As the capacitors equipped with insulation property can thus be integrated between the conductive segments, need of space for installing the capacitor or wiring work for connecting the capacitor can be eliminated, so a conventional commutator formation can be applied. Ceramic may otherwise be used for all the materials composing the commutator for improving heat resistance and abrasion resistance, and reducing the weight.

摘要： PURPOSE:To equalize the spark suppressing effect of a plural commutator segments and to elongate the life of brushes of the commutator motor by a method wherein as for two coils to be wound around in the same slot, the ratio between the number of turns of coils to be positioned at the front side and rear side of the rotational direction is selected to 1.20-1.60. CONSTITUTION:The two coils 22A, 22B are wound around in the same slots 18A, 18E, the starting end of the coil 22A is connected to a commutation segment 26A positioning at the front side of rotational direction X and the terminating end is connected to a commutator segment 26B, and the starting end of the coil 22B is connected to the commutator segment 26B and the terminating end is connected to a commutator segment 26C. The number of turns of the respective coils 22A, 22B are so selected as the ratio N1/N2 between the number of turns N1 of the coil 22A positioning at the front side of the rotational direction X and the number of turns N2 of the coil 22B positioning at the rear side of the rotational direction X to come within the range of 1.20-1.60. Accordingly the most suitable spark suppressing effect can be obtained, and the life of brushes can be elongated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts required and the operational steps by a method wherein a yoke presser is provided between an end bracket and a yoke, and thus the yoke can be pressed and fixed simultaneously with fixing the end bracket. CONSTITUTION:A yoke pressing member 19 is provided between a yoke 6 and an end bracket 10 inside a housing 5. A yoke pressed part 19 is formed, for example, in cylindrical form with an inside diameter on the side whereat it comes in contact with the yoke kept small, and an arrangement is such that the yoke 6 can be pressed and retained simultaneously with fixing the end bracket 10 on the housing 5 with a setscrw 11. This way of constitution may eliminate necessity of a through bolt with which to fix the yoke 6 and also reduce the number of parts required and the operational process. In addition, there is no convexity formed to allow the through bolt to pass inside the yoke 6, therefore a leakage flux is decreased to improve a rectifying performance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the conductor space factor and reduce the iron loss by arranging a coil having a large line diameter at the upper part having a large slot width of an eggplant shaped semiclosed slot and arranging a coil having a small line diameter at the lower part having a small slot diameter. CONSTITUTION:An armature coil 7a having a small line diameter is arranged at the lower part of an eggplant shaped semiclosed slot 6a in which the slot width at the lower part is narrower than the slot width at the upper part, and an armature coil 7b having a large line width is arranged at the upper part of the slot. Armature coils 7a and 7b are insulated from armature cores by means of an insulating paper 10, and a wedge 11 is inserted in the opening of the slot 6a. By these procedures, the conductor space factor within the slot 6a can be improved, the sectional area of each of teeth 9 can be enlarged and the iron loss can be decreased. Further, since the armature coil 7a having a small line diameter can be inserted in the lower part of a slit 5 formed in a commutator riser 4, the riser 4 and the commutator can be miniaturized.
