摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the hardness of a receptor having a photoconductor with high surface hardness and to improve the printing resistance by using a specified Al alloy having a eutectic structure as the material of the substrate and by vacuum depositing amorphous Se on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy consisting of, by wt, 8-15% Si, 1-4% Cu, 0.05- 0.6% Mg and the balance Al is used as the material of the substrate of an electrophotographic receptor. Since the Si crystals in the Al alloy having a eutectic structure are granular and have =7H pencil hardness which is higher than conventional hardness, and the printing resistance is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor, which is sensitive to the wavelength region of the He-ne laser, without lowering the charge holding capability, by adding In as alloy components into an Se-Te sensitizing layer. CONSTITUTION:In which forms a deposition type alloy together with Se or Te is added as alloy components into a sensitizing layer 1 of a photoreceptor for electrophotography where a carrier transporting layer 2 and the Se-Te sensitizing layer 1 are provided on a conductive supporting material 3. For example, the carrier transporting layer 2 consisting of Se and the Se-Te sensitizing layer 1 (containing about 15wt% Te) where 0.1-5.0wt% In is added are formed on the Al substrate 3 by the vacuum vapor-deposition. Thus, In having a small band gap Eg is diffused in the Se-Te matrix having a high resistance to hold a high resistance without lowering the sensitivity of the whole of the sensitizing layer 1, and a photoreceptor sensitive to the wavelengh region (632.8nm) of the He-Ne laser is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the surface wear resistance of a receptor contg. selenium, to elongate the life and to increase the number of sheets of paper printable with the receptor by forming an amorphous silicon layer which functions practically as an insulating layer on the surface of the receptor. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous silicon layer 4 which functions practically as an insulating layer is formed on the surface of a receptor obtd. by laying a barrier layer 2 of arsenic triselenide or the like on an electrically conductive substrate 1 and a selenium-contg. inorg. photoconductive layer 3 of amorphous selenium, a selenium-tellurium alloy or the like on the layer 2. The amorphous silicon layer 4 is formed by vapor deposition, glow discharge, sputtering or other method. The barrier layer 2 is laid as required. The optimum thickness of the amorphous silicon layer judged from the hardness and the quantity of half-value exposure is 0.01-0.08mum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an entitled photoreceptor superior in dimensional accuracy and suitable for a laser beam printer, by forming a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate made of an age hardening type aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION:An age hardening type aluminum alloy >=60Hv Vickers hardness, such as Al-(0.45-1.5)% Mg-(0.2-1.2)% Si alloy, is formed into a flate plate or a cylinder, subjected to age hardening heat treatment at 190-210 deg.C for 0.5- 1hr, the surface is precisely finished to a mirror, having a desired size, and washed to obtain a conductive substrate 1. On this substrate, a 40-100mum thick photosensitive layer 2 consisting of one or 2 layers selected from a selenium or its alloy layer, an org. compd. layer, a CdS layer, or a ZnO layer is formed by vapor deposition, and the substrate 1 is rapidly cooled at a >=5 deg.C/min speed, thus obtaining an electrophotographic receptor superior in finished precision, and resistance to mechanical damaging and impact.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording a stealth type ink composition, which can solve insufficient adhesivity, low recording speeds, bad safety, etc., that have been problems on liquid-based ink jet recordings, does not limit recording media, can record at high speeds, and is ecological. SOLUTION: This method for recording a stealth type ink composition comprises thermally liquidizing the stealth type ink composition which is solid at room temperature, and then imparting any jetting energy to the liquidized ink composition to jet the ink composition as ink liquid drops on a recording medium to form recording dots. Therein, the stealth type ink composition does not exhibit remarkable absorption in a visible light region, but emits visible light, when irradiated with UV light. The stealth type ink composition can be jetted at a recording rate of >=10 ips in the travel direction of the recording medium, and does not require any post treatment after the formation of the dots.

SOLUTION: In a recording medium such as thermal recording paper and a thermal sheet, formed on a base body is a thermal coloring layer that consists of blending a binding agent of polyvinyl alcohol or the like, a filling agent or kaolin, titanium oxide or the like, and a lubricant of a fatty acid amide or the like in a composition represented by an achromatic dye, bisphenol or the like. In this case, and compound having a hydroxyl group in a molecule and being liqudi at a room temperature is spouted on a recording medium, and recording dots are formed through coloring by the chemical reaction of a solvent and thermal base body. For such a liquid compound, there is used a compound selected from a fatty acid alcohol, a polyalkylene glycohol; in particular, a polyalkyleneglycoholalkylether compound.
