    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high efficiency and restrain vertical vibration of a car even when load impressed onto a motor changes, by inputting deviation of outputs from respective estimation means of load torque, generation torque to a simulation means for vibration reverse transmission characteristic, and by injecting the output into a torque command. SOLUTION: An elevator is generally in a region where machine natural frequency easily resonates with drive frequency of a motor, the frequency is excited by torque ripple of the motor to degrade comfortableness of the elevator. The vibration has a mode overlapped with speed of the motor. Thus, load torque vibration is estimated using motor detection speed ωM (300), the estimated value is passed through a simulation means for vibration reverse transmission characteristic derived based on response characteristic from input torque to an elevator machine series drive pulley to car vertical vibration (302), and thereby, component for restraining vertical vibration of a car 90 can be calculated. By injecting this into a torque command, the vibration can be restrained and suitable comfortableness can be secured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold high efficiency and suppress vertical vibration of a riding car, when load applied on an electric motor is changed in any state, by inputting deviation of an output of a load torque estimation means and a generated torque estimation means into a torque instruction. SOLUTION: A momentary torque generated inside an electric motor 60 is so controlled that the ratio of an excitation current and torque current following transitionally at high efficiency is held in relation to a torque instruction τR. At the same time, a vibration component of the electric motor loading torque is estimated and a vibration control signal τT is inputted into the torque instruction τR so as to miniaturize the vertical vibration of a riding car 90. The vibration of the riding car 90 is decreased, while controlling the electric motor 60 at high efficiency including its transitional state. This constitution can provide high energy saving effects and enlarge vibration control effects.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control so as to obtain a sine wave current whose power supply power factor is 1 and which has very little harmonic components by a method wherein the AC side voltage of a PWM converter is controlled in accordance with the resultant vector value of a current control means and a power supply voltage compensating means. SOLUTION: When the voltage of a smoothing capacitor 4 drops, a voltage command Ed ' from a DC voltage setting device 901 is compared with a voltage value Ed from a DC voltage detector 8 by an adder 902 and the amplitude value Im ' of the input current of a PWM converter 3 is outputted by a voltage control unit 903 so as to make the deviation between the command and the detected value zero and a phase θs ' which is synchronized with an AC power supply 1 is outputted from a power supply phase calculating unit 911. An input current command is ' is outputted from a current command calculating unit 912 in accordance with the amplitude value Im ', the phase θs ' and a sine function and compared with an actual input current value is from a current detector 7 by an adder 905 and a voltage signal Δec ' by which the AC side voltage of the PWM converter 3 is so regulated as to make the deviation between the command and the actual value zero is outputted from a current control unit 906. As a result, the control by which a sine wave current whose power supply power factor is 1 and which has vert little harmonic components can be obtained is realized.
