摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a core control system and method for boiling water reactor which can accurately predict the drift component varying with time, and estimate the stability margin during a transient event, and immediately after the end of the event. CONSTITUTION: Provided are a delay filter 7 which takes in neutron flux signal data of an APRM or an LPRM which are monitoring signals of a boiling water reactor core and predicts drift component, a self-correlater 8 for calculating a self-correlating value sequentially based on the prediction, an stability evaluator 22 for calculating a width reduction ratio based on the self-correlation value and evaluating stability margin of the core, and an indication device 11 for displaying the stability margin in a core monitoring device 24. Further a controlling device 23 is provided with an SPI operator 14 receiving a control rod selection and insertion signal from a judging device 13, an SPI device 15 directing insertion based on the signal, a control rod drive mechanism 16 inserting control rod in the core by the direction, and a flow controller 31 controlling the core flow rate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the drop of the liquid level in a cooling material elevating passage by arranging it so as to have a greatest flow path area in a certain place, and giving a specific range of flow path area ratio to the part which lies understream of the mentioned place and has the smallest flow path area in the cooling material elevating passage. CONSTITUTION:An elevation pipe 3E and a sinking pipe 5A are installed so as to form an inverted U-form, and a gap is provided between these two pipes, and thereby the surroundings of the pipes are cooled by a cooling water which rises in a cooling water path. The total section area of all penetration holes 30A which are provided in a fuel supporting part 12A, is set in compliance with the hydrostatic head corresponding to the difference between the level of the top of cooling material elevating passage 13 and the level of a cooling material discharge port 15A. Because the total section area of the penetration holes 30A is smaller than the section area of the cooling water path. the fuel supporting part 12A shows a resistance for range cooling water path. The ratio of the flow path area of the passage 13 incoming port 9A for cooling material to the flow path area of the passage 13 should range between 0.2 and 20%.
