    • PURPOSE: To obtain a deaerator enabling the sharp reduction of equipment and keeping the same deaeration effect as the existing method by utilizing effectively Henry's law in mechanical deaeration.
      CONSTITUTION: The deaerator is composed of a tank 1 opened to the air and a gaseous nitrogen supplying device 2. Gaseous nitrogen supplied from the gaseous nitrogen supplying device 2 is controlled to a specified flow rate by a flow rate control valve 3, is injected into the tank 1 from a gaseous nitrogen supplying header 4 to deaerate the feed water in the tank 1 by bubbling. The gaseous nitrogen in the vapor phase of the tank is discharged to the open air through a vent pipe 5 together with the supply from the gaseous nitrogen supplying device. By providing a down part to the vent pipe, the vent pipe is filled with gaseous nitrogen having smaller sp. gr. than the air, and the inflow of air is prevented.
