摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the heating of a ceiling wall and cool the high-temperature air by shielding the air heated by the heat from solidified bodies with a heat insulating plate and a heat transfer plate above, and removing heat with the cooling air flowing on the plate. CONSTITUTION:A storage room 1 arranged with storage pits 2 storing many highly radioactive waste solidified bodies is installed in this highly radioactive waste solidified body storage facility. The cooling air fed from the outside of the storage room 1 is fed into a heat insulating plate upper passage 13 formed by a heat insulating plate 12 and part of a heat transfer plate 22 arranged in parallel, and the ceiling of the storage room 1 and the heat insulating plate 12 between a storage room ceiling wall 3 and a storage pit upper plate 18. The cooling air passes through a storage room side wall passage 14 and is fed from the lower section of the storage pits 2 to remove the heat of the storage pits 2, and it is exhausted to the outside of the storage room 1 from a heat insulating plate lower passage 15.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve generating efficiency, by enclosing a solidified body into a cask good in thermal conduction and by installing a thermal power generating element panel to the external wall and setting it into the water. CONSTITUTION:A solidified body 5, a heating source, is sealed and enclosed into a cask 2 and a thermal power generating panel 3 is installed to the external wall. It is set in the water of a cooling storage pool 1 and is used as a DC generator. The heat from the solidified body 5 is conducted from the inner wall to the external wall of the cask 2 and transmitted to the thermal generating panel 3 sticking fast to the cask 2. This panel 3 is of a group of elements connecting thermal power generating elements 6 in series (in parallel), both sides of which are glued with a material good in thermal conductivity as waterproof structure. The electromotive force thus taken out is connected to a converter 9 and a battery 8 with a cable 4 through a charge-discharge controller 7.
