摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high speed analysis under the application of high voltage with good reproducibility, by arbitrarily and strictly controlling gelling temp. during electrophoresis in a fluorescence type full-automatic electrophoretip apparatus. SOLUTION: One set of temp. control elements are arranged to both side surfaces of a gel 1, a slit 134 capable of permitting light to pass is provided to one of them, and the irradiation of the gel 1 with exciting light and signal light are detected through the slit 134. Dry air is introduced into the slit part 134 to prevent the dewing of a detection system part. The electric energy applied to the gel is detected and the temps. of the temp. control elements bringing the temp. of the gel to predetermined temp. are calculated from the electric energy to be subjected to feedback control.

摘要： PURPOSE:To rapidly and accurately determine the stop position of a rotor by driving the rotor by a stepping motor when the state capable of stopping the driving of the rotor is attained by the control of the stepping motor, thereby bringing the rotor to a prescribed reference position. CONSTITUTION:A controller 19 receives the signal of a sensor 17 which detects four marks M1 to M4 and detects the period thereof. The controller drives the stepping motor 7 to start pitch feeding and monitors the output signal of a sensor 18 at the point of the time when the sensor 17 detects one mark among the marks M1 to M4 upon the period enters the range where the driving state of the motor 7 can be stopped. The controller stops the driving of the motor 7 to stop the feed of the rotor 1 when one mark among the marks M1 to M4 is detected by the sensor 18. A bucket 5 existing in the position of a bucket receiving groove 4a is brought to the reference position for taking out of a bucket handling mechanism if the one mark among the marks M1 to M4 exists in the detecting position of the sensor 18 and, for example, the mark M2 is assumed to be detected by the sensor 18.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample loading sheet capable of facilitating injection work of a DNA sample. SOLUTION: This sample loading sheet 1 is used for loading a test sample to a prescribed migration path position of a gel electrolyte layer of a migration plate used in a gel electrophoresis device. The sheet 1 is formed of a cation exchanging chromatography paper, while at least one main surface of the sheet 1 is partially or wholly coated with a water-resistant resin film. Because a DNA sample is generally charged with negative charges, the DNA sample can be easily absorbed in the sample loading sheet 1 formed of the cation exchanging chromatography paper. When a high voltage is applied to the sample loading sheet 1 set on the migration plate, the DNA sample absorbed in the sample loading sheet 1 is separated from the sheet 1 and migrated through the gel electrolyte layer.

The residue of the blank 6 wound on one section of the core 3 by the pulley 16 is engaged with a wire blank treating member 17, the ring 12 is rotated while treating it to wind the blank 6 on the outer surface of the core 3 by turning it once around the outside face of the core 3 while applying a tension to the blank 6 by the pulley 15. Accordingly, the hole 3' can be formed considerably small, and the blank 6 can be wound on the core 3 of small inner diameter. Thus, a time to the formation of a toroidal coil by spirally winding the blank 6 on the core 3 can be shortened.

First and second rollers 15, 16 provided in the rotary route of the chuck 13 are alternately replaced at the positions to externally pull the blank 6, and rotated around the core 3 in a predetermined radius while applying a tension thereto to wind the blank 6 on the outer surface of the core 3. Thus, the blank 6 is spirally wound on the core 3 to shorten a time to the formation of a toroidal coil, thereby improving the winding efficiency.

In this apparatus, a heating/cooling means and a fluorescence detecting unit are arranged in the base. The head has a sealing part, a support member and an electrode. The sealing part is divided into a first sealing part and a second sealing part, and both the sealing parts are integrally supported by the support member. The heating/cooling means is disposed on an upper surface of the second sealing part. Lower parts of the first and the second sealing parts have sealing means for sealing corresponding pots on lower surfaces.
