摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of preventing a shutting-in accident due to malfunction of a governor during an earthquake. SOLUTION: This device comprises a selection means or a control section 6 for selecting an earthquake emergency operation means and performing an earthquake emergency operation when an elevator car 2 is detected to exceed a predetermined speed and a governor switch signal output from the governor 4 and vibration due to earthquake of a building wherein the elevator is installed are detected to reach predetermined values and then respective earthquake detection signals output from earthquake detectors 5 are output. Thereby, when the governor 4 is operated by vibration of the earthquake during operation of the earthquake detectors 5 and accordingly the governor switch signal is output, it is determined to be malfunction of the governor 4 and the governor signal is made invalid and then the elevator car 2 is operated to the nearest floor without rapidly stopping.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry in and install an elevator apparatus preliminarily assembled in a factory by loading, on a receiving member provided in the upper part of an elevator shaft, a support member having a hoist set thereon and a machine room wall member for forming a machine room so as to enclose the hoist. SOLUTION: A hoisting machine 14, an elevator control board 21, a deflector wheel 25, and a machine room wall member 30a are preliminarily loaded on a support member 20 in a factory or the like to assemble a machine room integrated elevator product 46, and the machine room integrated elevator product 46 is carried to a construction site. The machine room integrated elevator product 46 is lifted up by a tower crane 41 or the like through a slinging wire 40, the support member 21 is placed on receiving members 18a, 18b in the upper part of an elevator shaft 1, and the whole body is retained. Since the machine room integrated elevator product 46 is loaded and supported so that the support member 20 is located on the receiving members 18a, 18b formed in the upper part of the elevator shaft 1, a machine room 30 can be constructed in the upper part of the elevator shaft 1 simultaneously with the set of the machine room integrated elevator product 46 preliminarily manufactured in the factory.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally determine the layout of a building where an elevator is installed. SOLUTION: This elevator is formed so that a wall 9 forming an installation space for a hoist 10, i.e. a machine room 8 is provided on the extension of a hoistway wall 1, thus eliminating a portion of the horizontal plane of projection of the machine room 8 projected from a horizontal plane of projection of a hoistway 2. In addition, because a rope 5 driving a car 3 is passed through a pulley 15 installed on the car 3, the rope 5 is positioned toward the hoistway wall 1 from the center of the car 3, and a sheave 16 of the hoist 10 can be disposed toward the hoistway wall 1 from the center of the horizontal plane of projection of the hoistway 2. Thus, an equipment maintenance space can be assured in the machine room 8 and, even when the wall 9 forming the machine room 8 is installed on the extension of the hoistway wall 1, there occurs no problem with maintenance.
