摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize a power system based on a time change of effective power and reactive power to control phase shift of a phase-shift transformer at the time of a fault. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus for stabilizing a power system comprises phase shift control means 13 for calculating effective power and reactive power from voltage and current of the system to decide a phase shift amount responsive to it, time deciding means 12 for obtaining time changes of the effective and reactive powers to decide a time in which the time change of the effective power is increased and the time change of the reactive power is decreased, and switching means 15 for switching outputs of fault control means 11 for outputting a preset phase shift amount from lapse of set time to output of the means 12, the means 13 and the means 11.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the abnormality of a power system when its series capacitor is connected or its axis torsion signal is generated or its synchronizing signal is eliminated due to a fault, by generating the ignition pulse of its thyristor through the output signal of its synchronizing signal generator which is synchronized with a virtual phase associated with the terminal voltage of its series capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of an AC power supply 1 is boosted by a transformer 3, and is transmitted to a load side AC power system 2 through two-circuit long-distance transmission lines 41, 42. With both the ends series capacitor devices 51-54 controlled by thyristor controllers 31-34 having identical configurations with each other are connected respectively. In the series capacitor device 52, a series capacitor 501, inverse-parallel thyristors 503, 504 and a series reactor 502 are provided respectively, and when a power transmission is started the capacitor 501 is bypassed by a transmission current through the ignitions of the thyristors 503, 504. The series capacitor device 52 is controlled by the thyristor controller 31 while the terminal voltage of the capacitor 501 and the current of the transmission line 42 are sensed respectively by a PT 505 and a CT 504. Thereby, even if the reference position of the control of the series capacitor is displaced by the starting and fault of the power transmission, the virtual phase for the control is outputted from the controller 31, and as a result, the abnormal phenomenon of the power system is suppressed.

SOLUTION: In a power system stabilization method which cuts off a generator in order to maintain the stability of a power system 2 when a system failure is produced in the power system 2, several patterns of criteria of the generators to be cut off are selected by an equiarea method taking fault conditions such as the failed transmission line, the type of the failure, etc., into account, the stabilities are calculated in parallel by using the criteria and the generator to be cut off is determined in accordance with the calculation results.
