    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor an optical fiber cable coated fiber without generating an erroneous notification, based on a time-serial data of measured waveform data of an optical fiber measuring instrument.
      SOLUTION: An optical fiber selector 3 selects a spare monitoring coated fiber of an optical fiber cable 4 at each fixed period in each monitoring route, by a command from this monitor 1 for monitoring the optical fiber cable coated fiber, an optical loss by a light pulse is measured by the optical fiber measuring instrument 2, a result therein is processed by the monitor 1 for monitoring the optical fiber cable coated fiber, and a processed result is stored thereafter in the every fixed period, into a measured waveform file 32. The measured waveform data are read from a file device 12 to a main memory 14, a time-serial waveform change is collated by a time-serial waveform detection processing part 45, a CPU 10 specifies an abnormal portion (deteriorated portion), based on a collation result to be displayed on a display 18, together with map information. The cable of the lot identical to the optical fiber cable generating abnormality may be also specified therein, to be displayed together therewith.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a coated optical fiber where abnormality occurs and an abnormal point position by switching drain groove graphics and the plural coated optical fiber which are overlapped/displayed on a facility drawing so that they are separated and displayed. SOLUTION: When the selection command of 'display form switching' is inputted to an operation input part 111, a display form switching part 114 starts an objective graphic extraction part 115 and extracts graphic data in a monitoring abnormal point from drawing data on a main memory 202. A coordinate conversion part 116 shifts a constitution point coordinates except for the start/end point coordinates of optical fiber graphic data so that it can easily be viewed and it is stored in the main memory 202 again. An attribute number is retrieved from monitoring abnormal point attribute information with an optical fiber number as a key, a monitoring abnormal point graphic data graphic number is obtained, it is specified from the main memory 202 and the coordinates is shifted and is stored again. When the coordinate conversion processing of all extracted optical fiber graphics and monitoring abnormal point graphics is terminated, a display processing part 117 displays the abnormal point position of the coated optical fiber where abnormality occurs.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an optical fiber which needs management, to support a maintenance schedule and to execute prevention/maintenance by detecting abnormality information in an optical fiber monitoring device, deciding abnormal location in facility drawing information and diagnosing deterioration, based on abnormality information and an abnormal place on a facility drawing. SOLUTION: A monitoring control part 312 retrieves an optical fiber graphic on a facility drawing from fault point position information and an optical fiber number and specifies an abnormal point coordinate. An abnormality registration part 115 registers an abnormal point coordinate in graphic data in a memory 202 as monitoring abnormal point graphic data and displays monitoring abnormal point graphic data on the drawing display area 103 of a display face 101 as a monitoring abnormal point via a display processing part 117. When the icon for 'deterioration diagnosis' is selected/commanded by using a mouse 207, the selected command is inputted to an operation input part 111, and the operation input part 111 activates the deterioration diagnosis part 116 of CPU 201.
