    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an autoanalyzer, capable of reducing the amount of cleaning liquid consumed and shortening the cleaning time, while maintaining effective cleaning of a nozzle in the case of an autoanalyzer, using a bore hole type reagent container with a nozzle the contamination range of which becomes wide. SOLUTION: A control part 101 calculates the length of a portion of the nozzle having penetrated from a bore hole in the bore hole type reagent container 112, namely, an area 203 of contamination, and determines a position to which the nozzle has to be lowered in a cleaning mechanism 109, according to the calculated area 203 of contamination. By stopping the nozzle at the position, only the area 203 of contamination is cleaned effectively in the mechanism 109, and the portions other than the area of contamination are prevented from being cleaned. Accordingly, an autoanalyzer can be realized, capable of reducing the amount of cleaning liquid consumed and shortening cleaning time, while maintaining effective cleaning of a nozzle in the case of an autoanalyzer using a bore hole type reagent container, with a nozzle with widening contamination range.
