    • PURPOSE:To convey a workpiece which has an arbitrary shape and from which several thin metal sheets are obtained, by delivering the workpiece onto a delivery table provided with free bearings, after cutting and separating it, and by determining the clamp position of the rear end face of the workpiece with the use of a device for recognizing the condition of the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 7 cut by a cutting device 1 is delivered onto free bearings 3 laid on the upper surface of a delivery table 2, and is recognized in its cutting condition by an image processing device using a camera recognizing the cutting condition so that the end face clamp position is determined. The workpiece 7 set on the free bearings falls into such a condition that the end face thereof may be clamped. The positions of the free bearings are registered in the image processing device and therefore, the interferes thereof may be avoided. A clamp device 6 attached to a moving device 5 which is movable in the longitudinal, crosswise and heightwise directions, clamps the end face. Then the surface of the workpiece which is parallel with the free bearings 3 is moved, thereby it is possible to move the workpiece 3 having an arbitrary shape.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a generating efficiency of a DC magnetic field of a magnet and to miniaturize and lighten a device, by a method wherein a transmitting and receiving coil is mounted to one leg of a core, formed in a U-shape in cross section, of which a DC electromagnet consists, and a DC exciting coil is wound around the leg, whereto the transmitting and receiving coil is attached, in the proximity of the transmitting and receiving coil. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting an receiving coil 17 is mounted to a one leg, i.e., a leg 3 of a core 5, formed in a U-shape in cross section, of which a DC electromagnet consists, and a DC exciting coil 6 is wound around the leg 3, whereto the transmitting and receiving coil 7 is attached, in the proximity of the transmitting and receiving coil 7. A conventional device, in which the DC exciting coil 6 is located to a yoke 5, needs 6000 AT in order to generate a magnetic field of 2 Tesla, meanwhile, if the DC exciting coil 6 is mounted to the leg 3 of the core whereto the transmitting and receiving coil is attached, a magnetic flux density of 2 Tesla is generated by a magnetomotive force of 4000 AT. That is, a similar magnetic field is produced by an electromotive force mu of the DC exciting coil 6 being 67% (=4000/6000) of that of the conventional device and a calorific value H being 44%[=(4000/6000) ]of that of the conventional device. The weight of the DC exciting coil is determined by the calorific value, the weight of the DC exciting coil is reduced to about 44%, the miniaturization and lightening of the DC exciting coil also miniaturizes a core part around which the DC exciting coil is wound, which results in permitting the reduction in weight by about 50% on the whole.
