摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occupancy of the communication controller or the like by a specific user by managing the number of reception frames for waiting protocol processing corresponding to connections and discarding new reception frames in the case where the number reaches a threshold one. CONSTITUTION:A frame reception section 112 of a signal processing section 100 analyzes reception data to generate an event representing frame reception, and an event reception control section 113 accesses an event management information table by using the connection number of a reception event as a key and compares a resident event count depending on the user belonging to the connection with an upper limit. When the count does not reach the upper limit, the received event is registered in an even queue and the count is incremented. Furthermore, when the count reaches the upper limit, it is discriminated that lots of received events from the user are sent too much and the reception event is discarded. Thus, it is prevented that the specific user occupies the reception capability of the signal processing section 100.

A receiving side procedure 910-0 transmits STAT PDU 30-0 with no resending request 42-0 and no credit 41-0 independently of a receiving state. After the release 530-0 of the processing busy state, a normal receiving procedure 830-0 is executed, STAT PDU 30-1 for requesting 42-1 the resending of SD (1) and SD (2) is transmitted and then normal SSCOP procedures 710-1, 820-1,... are restored.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a timer system consisting of plural timers that reduced the information processing value needed for the time-out monitoring. CONSTITUTION:When each timer is started, a start request event 530 including the request identification number which is updated for each stop of the timer and the time-out time is generated and registered successively into a timer queue 520 provided in response to the timer set value. Then the latest event 530 is defined as a time-out monitoring subject 503 among those events 530 which are grouped and registered into the queues 520. The time-out state is detected when the present time 501 is compared with the time-out time of the event 530. Meanwhile an invalid start request event with the timer is already stopped is detected when a fact whether the request identification number has the latest value or not is detected. The number of timers whose time-out states are actually monitored is limited so that many timers can be controlled with the small load value.
