CONSTITUTION:A GPS receiver 11 measures and outputs a position of a moving body for every long period (T1), a gyro 12 measures and outputs an angular velocity thereof and an accelerometer 13 measures and outputs acceleration for every short period (T2). A signal synchronizing section 14 generates a timing signal having a integral ratio of T1/T2 or more so that the values of the angular velocity and acceleration are corrected so as to be synchronized therewith. A state quantity calculation section 16 integrates the corrected accleration data to obtain an attitude angle, integrates the corrected acceleration to obtain a velocity and integrates the velocity to obtain a position. A Kaman filter 15 estimates a position of the moving body for every period of T1 by taking a position signal from the GPS receiver 11 as an observation value and inputting the attitude angle and position from the calculation section 16. The position signal from the Kalman filter 15 is utilized for the correction in the state quantity calculation section 16.
