    • PURPOSE:To enable a high-accuracy counting with a small-type flat construction with high vibration resistance and airtightness, by a construction wherein a flat plate form main body of a cleaning body counter is provided with a counting hole for the cleaning bodies, and a cleaning body sensor is buried in the main body with an end part thereof fronting the counting hole. CONSTITUTION:The main body 11 of the washing body counter is provided with the counting hole 12 for the cleaning bodies 10. The main body 11 is formed from a synthetic resin, a metal or the like in a shape comprising a tetragonal part and a semicircular part, and the tetragonal part is provided with a stepped part 11' for fitting terminals. The main body 11 is disposed between flanges 19, 19' provided at end parts of pipes 18, 18' to be cleaned, and fitted in place by bolts 20. The cleaning bodies 10 flow from the pipe 18 into the pipe 18' together with a fluid, and when passing through the hole 12, they are counted by a cleaning body sensor having a transmitter 13 and a receiver 14. Accordingly, the entire body of the counter can be made to be small in size and flat in shape, the vibration resistance and airtightness can be enhanced, and a higher counting accuracy can be contrived.

    • PURPOSE:To permit to remove foreign substances in cooling water surely and continuously even during the operation of the heat exchanger by a method wherein the inside of the strainer is divided into two divisions and a discharging pipe is provided at the bottom of the strainer while a changeover valve, having two sheets of partitionings arranged with an arbitrary angle, is provided at the inlet section thereof. CONSTITUTION:The foreign substances in the cooling water are accumulated on the inner surface of the strainer 11. When clogging is generated in the strainer 11, the changeover valve 13 is switched to the side of a chamber A and the chamber A side may be intercepted by one partitioning while the chamber A may be partitioned from a chamber B by the other partitioning. Simultaneously, a foreign substance discharging valve 16 is opened, then, the flow of cooling water at the side of the chamber A may be reversed from the outside of the strainer to the inside of the same by the cooling water introduced from the side of the chamber B whereby the foreign substances, adhered to the inner surface of the strainer, are removed and discharged into a cooling water outlet tube through the foreign substance discharging pipe. When the cleaning of the chamber A is finished, the changeover valve 13 is switched to the side of the chamber B and the foreign substances in the chamber B side may be removed by intercepting the chamber B side and opening the foreign substance discharging valve 17.

    • PURPOSE:To produce a circumstance not suitable for the living of marine organisms and prevent adhesion of larve floating in sea water by projecting ultraviolet rays against the circumstance, in which the adhesive statin organism are readily living, in the path of cooling water for a condenser. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water is introduced from a cooling water introducing pipe 1, becomes whirling water stream due to the operating angle of an inlet valve 2 and enters into the casing of a foreign substance removing device. The cooling water, whose dust is removed, is introduced into the entrance water chamber 5 of a condenser through the inlet pipe 4 of the condenser. The cooling water passes through the fine tubes 6 of the condenser and arrives at an outlet water chamber 7. The cooling water passes the outlet pipe 8 of the condenser and arrives at the cooling water outlet pipe 10 through a ball collector 9 for washing the fine tubes in the condenser. In case the ultraviolet rays projecting device 20 is attached to the inlet water chamber 5 of the condenser 19, it is attached so that the projecting position is changeable and, thus, the adhesion of marine organisms may be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To automate cleaning work, when bodies to be cleaned which are circulated in a liquid pipe are cleaned, by counting the number of supplied bodies to be cleaned which are fed to a circulating system, the number of recovered bodies, and the number of normal bodies which are returned to the system, and computing and determing the number of the boides to be supplied based on the counted results. CONSTITUTION:The number of balls, which are washed in the circulating system and returned to a recovery device 13, is counted by a counter 12a. The number of the balls, which are supplied from a recovery device 14 to a circulating water path 2 and the number of the normal balls which are selected by a ball selector 15 and returned to a ball circulating system 11, are counted by a counter 12b. The number of the balls, which are inputted into the recovery devices 14 from a ball inputting device 17, is counted by a counter 12c. The results are inputted into a computation controlling device 100. The controlling device 100 computes the number of balls equired for the cleaning work according to a specified program together with other data, and controls a ball circulating pump 7, the recovery devices 13, 14, and 16, the inputting device 17, the selector 15, a vacuum pump and a pump 18 and 19, and valves 50-63. Thus, the cleaning work can be automated.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformly remove hard scale adhered to the inside of condenser tube all over the tube nest, by determining the specific gravity of cleaning ball as approximately equal as of the circulating water, and by making the outer diameter of cleaning ball as approximately equal size as of the inner diameter of the condenser tube. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter of cleaning ball 4 is determined as approximately equal sizes as of the inner diameter of a condenser tube 10, as well as the specific gravity of cleaning ball 14 is adjusted to be as approximately equal as of the circulating water, by adhering carborundum 11 and a matter 12 of which specific gravity is light to the outer surface of a cleaning ball. By this arrangement, the inside of the condenser tube 10 can uniformly be rubbed, so that hard scale adhered to the inside of condenser tube 10 can be removed uniformly from all over the condenser tube nest.
