CONSTITUTION:The control method, supplying an amount subtracting a load required for a power system L from the output of a water turbine T to a variable load VR, controls a rotary speed to a fixed value together with the output of the water turbine and the total load. Under this condition, if the load for the power system L decreases, the rotary speed increases, and the method, increasing a load value of the variable load VR in accordance with the increase amount of said rotary speed, controls the rotary speed to a fixed value together with the total load. Reversely, when the power system load increases, the rotary speed decreases, and the method, decreasing the load value of the variable load VR in accordance with the decrease amount of said rotary speed, controls the rotary speed.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid surely the separation of water column due to S-shape characteristic by a method wherein a timing to shift the guide vane from sudden closing operation to the opening operation forcibly and another timing to shift the same from the opening operation to the sudden closing are controlled correctly. CONSTITUTION:When the load of the pump is cut off, the guide vane is closed suddenly and the guide vane is opened forcibly by detecting that the value of dQ1/DN1 (Q1=QH , N1=NH , Q: the flow amount of the water wheel, N: rotating speed, H: effective head) has become smaller than certain negative value while the opening operation is continued while the value of dQ1/dH1 is positive. The guide vane is closed suddenly under a condition that the value of dQ1/dH1 has turned from positive to negative. According to this method, the timing to shift the guide vane from the sudden closing to the opening operation forcibly and the timing to shift the same from the opening operation to the sudden closing can be controlled correctly, therefore, the separation of the water column caused by the abnormal increase of an upstream side water pressure as well as the abnormal reduction of a downstream side water pressure, both due to the S-shape characteristic, may be avoided surely.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable exhaust gas controlling device for a hydraulic machine by being constituted by a detector for detecting a position of a moving part of an exhaust valve in itself and a device for issuing a command of exhaust valve-close exclusively or giving an alarm simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A C-NC contact 101 of a position switch 23 for detecting a position where an exhaust valve is entirely closed is closed regardless of an operating condition of a main machine if the exhaust valve is opened even only slightly when constructed such that the exhaust valve is closed when an electromagnet is energyzed. As far as this condition is kept, a time limit relay 102 continues to count time. And, when a prescribed interval of time lapses, a time limit contact 103 is closed, an electromagnet 105 for a exhaust valve close-operation is energyzed exclusively to permit the exhaust valve to be closed irrespective of an original exhaust valve-close controlling circuit. Simultaneously, an alarm is issued by the other time limit close contact 104, and thereby it is possible to take a necessary measure even if the exhaust valve would no be closed.
