    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden for operation, to lower the cost of a product and to save using power by providing an opening part with an openable/closable opening/closing lid capable of exhausting circulation air to the inside or the outside of a device and automatically opening this opening and closing lid by detecting the variation of humidity in the circulating air. SOLUTION: At the time of drying operation, heat generated by a heater is guided as hot air into a drum by a thermally exchanging fan to heat matter to be dried to evaporate moisture. In a drier like this, an exhausting lid 17 which can be opened and closed to a part of a circulating air duct is provided on the front surface of a clothing drier. The lid 17 is provided in the state of being freely rotatable with a rotation supporting point 17a as a center and is normally kept in a closed state by a coil spring. However, in the case that humidity detected by a humidity sensor, etc., provided in the circulation air duct becomes a prescribed value, an electromagnetic solenoid 19 is energized to open the lid 17 through an arm 20. Thus, humid air is exhausted from the circulation air duct at the time of entering the decreasing rate of drying, thereby the deterioration of drying efficiency is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a clothing dryer even if there is no installing place, to perform operation on the indoor side without going outdoors, and to improve practicability by constituting the clothing dryer so as to be installed on the outdoor side of the window part of a house by directing an input port toward the indoor side. SOLUTION: When an installing place of a clothing dryer cannot be secured indoors, the clothing dryer where the upper/lower surfaces of an outer frame body front plate 1-1 are arranged on the outdoor side, is fixed to a window frame 23 by using screws 22 by cross-sectional L-shaped installing parts 21. At using time, a window is opened, a door 2 exposed to the indoor side is opened, and clothing to be dried is inputted in the clothing dryer to start operation. That is, a drum 3 and a fan 6 are rotated by actuation of a motor 4, and hot air generated by heating of a heating element 5 is supplied in the drum 3 to dry clothing. Moisture evaporated from the clothing passes through a waste thread scavenging device 16 together with circulating air to flow in the circulating side A of a fan casing 8 through a drum exhaust port 3-2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent starting defect when an air-tight holding felt is humidified and frozen and to enlarge a usage condition by executing only a hot blow operation in a state where a drum is stopped when a temp. sensor senses that peripheral temp. is lower than previously set temp. at the time of starting the operation. SOLUTION: When operation starting time peripheral temp. is the low one, the air-tight holding felt 17-2 has a probability to be humidified and frozen. When the temp. sensor 21 mounted in a mainbody senses that temp. is lower than certain fixed temp., a controller 18 controls a motor 4 to be rotated backwards at the time of starting the operation, a one-way clutch 4-3A is in lost motion so as to permit the drum 3 to be in the stop state, only a heat exchange fan 6 is rotated backwards and hot blow is supplied into the drum 3. When the air-tight holding felt 17-1 is fused by hot blow when it is frozen by the humidity so as to enable starting the drum 3 and, after that, the motor 4 is changed-over into a normal rotary direction so as to do normal operation.

    • PURPOSE:To control a current within a prescribed current value while controlling the ON/OFF of a semiconductor heater at the early time of operation, thereafter detecting the current for the purpose of constant-current control in order to shorten a drying time. CONSTITUTION:When a semiconductor heater 13 is divided into elements 13a, 13b, and the operation is started by a start switch, the element 13a, 13b are subjected to ON-OFF control. Thereafter, while detecting a current by a current sensor 22, a rotation of a motor 18 is controlled by a controller 25, that is, a rotation of a double-sided fan is controlled, the air quantity of dehumidifying air flowing into the semiconductor heater 13 is controlled, and finally, the current is controlled within a prescribed value. Accordingly, the operation can be executed by a prescribed current irrespective of fluctuation factors such as the air quantity, an atmospheric temperature, etc., and an inexpensive and practical clothes drier for aiming the shortening of time is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent cooling water from splashing to keep water droplets from mixing into drying air, by providing a far cover with a slope on a water-cooled heat exchanger, where cooling water is supplied, to prevent the cooling water from splashing. CONSTITUTION:A double wing fan 8 has blades having a wave-shaped cross section, and heat exchange between drying air and cooling air takes place across the blade side faces. Simultaneously, cooling water is sprayed through a nozzle 23 and strikes against a fan cover 54 with a slope so that the cooling water dispersed in the periphery direction of the double wing fan 8 and heat exchange between the drying air and the cooling water takes place. In drying operation, as the cooling water sprayed through the nozzle 23 strikes against the fan cover 54 with the slope, the cooling water is prevented from splashing. Thus, as the cooling water is kept from splashing, the cooling water is effectively used for cooling and dehumidifying and line cooling water is prevented from entering a drying chamber and from leaking.

    • PURPOSE:To improve heat exchanging performance and reduce noises by providing an intake port for introducing atmospheric cooling air into the central side of a heat exchanging fan in the central portion of a casing cover for covering the cooling side of the heat exchanging fan to form an atmospheric cooling path of a back plate and a plurality of exhaust ports on the outer peripheral position of said fan. CONSTITUTION:Cooling air is conducted to a heat exchanging fan 7 through the cooling side intake port 13, a gap between an intake duct portion 23 of a back plate 20 and a casing cover 25 and a casing cover intake port 26. The cooling air flows between the intake duct portion 23 and the casing cover 25 and the turbulence of the cooling air is arranged in order to reduce noises. The casing cover intake port 26 is disposed in the central portion of casing cover 25 and a casing cover exhaust port 27 is disposed on the outer peripheral position of said fan 7 in the casing cover 25, so that the cooling air takes heat surely from circulating air to provide satisfactory heat exchanging performance.
