    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high reliable superconductive wire material without difficulty to make a wire material because of fragility peculiar to oxide by dispersing a raw material powder of an oxide superconductive material in a pure copper, and conducting a heat treatment in an oxygen atmosphere or air after the wire material is made. CONSTITUTION:A pure copper is filled in an alumina pot and melted with a high frequency. A powder in which BaO and Y2O3 of below 1mum are mixed at 2:1 in the mole ratio is added in a melted liquid while the temperature of the melted liquid is maintained at 1450 deg.C after melting, the temperature is lowered with the liquid stirred, and an ingot in which the powder is uniformly dispersed in the pure copper is made. The ingot is hot extruded at 600 deg.C, and a wire material having a diameter of 0.5mm phi is obtained. Then the wire material is made cold wire drawing, and made to a wire material having a diameter of 0.1mm phi. A heat treatment in an oxide atmosphere at 950 deg.C*10hr. is applied to these two dinds of the wire material. An electric resistance shows zero at 88K in the wire material made thus. The same effect can be obtained by conducting a heat treatment after rolling and making to a tape-state thin plate instead of an extrusion or wire drawing process.

    • PURPOSE:To easily obtain a long-size wire material by conducting a heat treatment in an oxygen atmosphere or air with alloy, composed of an element other than oxygen of an oxide superconductive material and having a different component, mechanically joined with pressure. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of metallic plates are mechanically joined, and the joined interface is made to a superconductor 3. For instance, two kinds of alloy plates are made to a Y-Cu alloy 2 and a Ba-Cu alloy 1, and an ingot is manufactured by high frequency melting in vacuum using calcium pot. The ingot manufactured is rolled to have a 2mm thickness, then two plates are overlapped and concurrently rolled and mechanically joined to be a plate having a 0.5mm thickness. A square bar having one side of 0.5mm is cut down from the plate, wire drawing is made to have a 0.1mm size, then a 10hour heat treatment is conducted in an oxygen atmosphere at 800 deg.C, and the joined interface is made to a superconductor. This eliminates difficulty because of fragility peculiar to oxide when a wire material is manufactured.
