摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the collecting efficiency of magnetic fine particles in a liquid and to facilitate the washing thereof, by a method wherein a magnetic fine wire with a small cross area is molded into a screw form and the interior of the filter tower of an electromagnetic filter is filled with the molded screw shaped magnetic fine wire while an electromagnetic coil is arranged around the filter tower. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fine wire with a small cross area, for example, having a short diameter of about 30mum and a long diameter of about 70mum is formed into a screw form having a diameter of, for example, about 2mm. and the interior of a filter tower 2 is filled with this screw shaped fine wire 5 through dispersing plates 4, 5. A liquid containing magnetic fine particles is introduced into the filter tower 2 from an arranged pipe 10a and magnetic fine particles are collected by the magnetic fine wire 1 under the action of a high gradient magnetic field while the treated liquid is discharged from an arranged pipe 10b. By this mechanism, the magnetic fine wire holds strength and the interior of the filter tower 2 can be uniformly filled therewith while collected magnetic fine particles can be easily removed out of the filter tower 2 from an arranged pipe 10d by extruding the liquid in the filter tower 2 to the outside at a high flow speed in such a state that values 20a, 20b are closed and valves 20c, 20d are opened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively carry out the prolongation of the life of a filter aid, in the condensed water filtering and desalting vessel of an atomic power plant, by providing a precoating tank and a precoating pump to precoat of the filter aid prior to water sampling and during water sampling separately. CONSTITUTION:A powdery ion exchange resin as a filter aid is mixed with water by a stirrer 8 in a precoating tank 8 to be formed into a slurry and this slurry is sent into a filtering and desalting vessel 6 by a precoating pump 11. A precoated layer is formed on the surface of an element in the filtering and desalting vessel 6 from the filter aid in the slurry sent into said vessel 6 and permeated water is returned to the precoating tank 8. When water in the tank 8 becomes transparent, condensed water 5 is sent to the filtering and desalting vessel 6 through a change-over valve 15 by a pump to start the purification thereof. In the next step, the filter aid and water are mixed by a stirrer 9 in a precoating tank 10 during sending water to be formed into a slurry and the resulting slurry is sent into the filtering and desalting vessel 6 during the purification of condensed water by a precoating pump 12 to form another precoated layer on the precoated layer on the element 13.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase a life of filtration by increasing a period of filtration in the inside, by dividing a precoating operation into operations before raw water treating and during raw water treating. CONSTITUTION:0.1-2% Powdered ion-exchange resin is charged into a resin tank 17, and then is fed into a filtering cylinder 16 by a pump while sufficiently mixing with demineralized water by an agitator 18 to precoat the surfaces of elements 15 with the resin. When the elements 15 are almost precoated with the resin contained in the tank 17, raw water is fed to the cylinder 16 to start a treatment. After starting the treatment, the pressure difference between the outlet and inlet ports of the cylinder 16 is detected by pressure sensors 21 and 23, and when the pressure difference begins to rise rapidly, a controlling box 24 actuates a precoating pump 19 to feed the resin, previously agitated in the tank 17, to the cylinder 16 in order to coat the precoated layer of the elements 15 again thereby forming another layer of filter medium.

CONSTITUTION:In a mixing tower 1 which agitates and mixes an anion exchange resin and a cation exchange resin by air of upward stream in liquid, a vent pipe 31 opened at both ends is provided in the tower 1 in such a way that at least one end thereof is under the liquid level of the mixed liquids, and the upward air stream which forces the mixed liquids upward and overflows the same from the top end of the pipe 31 is formed in said pipe. Thereafter, this processed water is sent to a denitrifying tank 5 through a settling tank 9 while the substance, which absorbed the ammonium nitrogen separated in the settling tank 9 and procesed by the positive ion exchange, is sent to a nitrifying tank 4. Then, denitrifying bacteria are activated by nourishment of organic substances in the processed water in the denitrifying tank 5 and the positive ion-exchange substances in the nitrifying tank 4 are revived and circulated to the positive ion-exchange process tank 7 and thus reused.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a high-gradient electromagnetic filter from corroding by increasing the concentration of dissolved oxygen in water passed through said filter to a specific range when removing corrosion products in water through the filter. CONSTITUTION:Steam generated by a nuclear eactor 40 is supplied through steam piping 42 to turbines 18 to put them in operation and then supplied to a condenser 20 where it is cooled and condensed. The obtained condensate is sucked by a condensate pump 24 and sent to a high-gradient electromagnetic filter 10 while pressurized. In this case, oxygen or hydrogen peroxide is injected into the condensate from an injection opening 26 to control the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the condensate to 30-1,000ppb. Then, the condensate entering the filter 10 forms an oxidized film on the surface of a magnetic thin wire in the filter part to prevent the corrosion of the thin wire. The condensate from which a clad is adsorbed and removed by the filter 10 is guided to a desalting device 28 to remove ions, and then supplied to a furnace 40 through a feed water pump 34 and feed water heaters 36 and 38.
