摘要： PURPOSE:To make improvement in weatherability and antifogging property by applying a fluorine lubricant as a protective film on the surfaces of optical elements consisting of a glass material. CONSTITUTION:The liquid fluorine lubricant 3 is applied on the surfaces of the optical elements 1, 2 to form the protective film consisting of the fluorine lubricant 3. Namely, the decrease in surface energy and the improvement in water repellency and oil repellency are resulted. The fluorine lubricant 3 is chemically adsorbed on the surface of glass or plastic, this lubricant improves the adhesiveness of the protective film and the optical elements 1, 2 without impairing the surface roughness of the optical elements 1, 2. The sticking of steam and oily stains to the surface of the optical elements is substantially prevented and the surfaces of the optical elements having various characteristics, such as weatherability and antifogging property, are obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic recording medium having high output and high S/N by obtaining the magnetic lines of force having the intra-surface recording direction component of a magnetic coated film by a Meissner effect. CONSTITUTION:The interaction of the magnetic lines of force which are different in the direction and are generated from a magnet 3 and the Meissner effect of a superconductor 100 is used. Namely, the magnetic lines of force generated from the magnet 3 are directed to the direction nearly parallel with a certain plane by the interaction of the magnetic lines of force generated from the magnet 3 and the Meissner effect of the superconductor 100 between the magnet 3 and the superconductor 100 when both are disposed to face each other. The magnetic recording medium is, therefore, disposed in parallel with the plane near this plane and magnetic powder is subjected to the magnetic field orientation by the magnetic lines of force. The magnetic recording medium having the excellent magnetic field orientability and the high S/N is obtd. in this way.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance by executing the curing treatment of a binder or the working after curing of the binder in a slightly oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The thermal curing of a coated film is executed in the slightly oxidizing atmosphere formed by slightly incorporating an oxidizing gas into an inert gas. Or an in-the-air treatment is executed at the temp. between the thermal curing temp. and ordinary temp. after the coated film is thermally cured in the inert gas. The working stage is otherwise executed in an inert gaseous atmosphere and the worked disk is subjected to a corrosion resistant treatment after formation of the coated film by execution of the corrosion resistant treatment in the slightly oxidizing atmosphere or while immersing the disk in a solvent in which oxygen is dissolved to saturation. The corrosion resistance is thereby improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a porous magnetic coated film which is microporous and is uniformly dispersed with micropores by coating a magnetic coating compd. added with polyalkylene oxide on a substrate to form a coated film thereon, then curing the binder by a heat treatment to thermally decompose and evaporate the polyalkylene oxide. CONSTITUTION:The polyalkylene oxide which is the additive is quickly oxidized and decomposed in an about 180-230 deg.C range. Said additive exhibits good compatibility to the binder of the magnetic coating compd. While said additive can be added to the compd. in a wide range of concn., the size of the pores increases and the large pores are the cause for noise generation if the amt. of said additive to be added is too large. The micropores of the amt. sufficient for impregnation of a lubricating agent are not obtainable if the amt. is too small. The adequate amt. at which the above-mentioned additive is used is in the range of 1-30wt.% of the binder of the magnetic coating compd. The many micropores which are not obtainable heretofore are formed by forming the coated film and subjecting the film to a suitable heat treatment, by which the magnetic coated film impregnated with the lubricating agent in a large amt. is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium having excellent wear resistance and sliding resistance by combining a perfluoropolyether having a specific main chain as a lubricating agent and B or a compd. essentially consisting of B as a protective film. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium has a prescribed substrate, the protective layer consisting of a thin ferromagnetic metallic film provided on the substrate or the thin ferromagnetic metallic compd. film and the B or the compd. essentially consisting of B provided thereon and the liquid lubricating layer of the perfluoropolyether having the main chain as the structure expressed by the formula (x=1, 2, 3). A high effect of improving the durability of the magnetic recording medium is thereby obtd. and particularly the practicability of the vertical magnetic recording medium in which a Co-Cr alloy is used as the ferromagnetic metallic film is attained. The protective film material is stuck to the thin ferromagnetic metallic film in the clean and active state thereof if the protective film is formed in continuation to the formation of the thin ferromagnetic metallic film and therefore, the bond strength between the two films increases and the wear resistance improves further.

摘要： PURPOSE:To permit bonding of a polymer to the surface of a magnetic recording medium at a high yield by bringing a surface treating agent of a polymer having an azide group into contact with said surface and decomposing the azide group so that the surface and the polymer are bonded by the formed nitrene. CONSTITUTION:The surface treating agent is chemically bonded to the surface of the magnetic recording medium via the nitrene formed when the azide group is decomposed by the contact of the surface treating agent of the polymer having the azide group. This chemical bond is generated through the nitrene which is the intermediate product of reaction. The nitrene intermediate product exhibits an extraordinarily higher reactivity with many org. polymers as compared to carbene and forms a carbon-nitrogen covalent bond by reacting therewith. The nitrene intermediate product makes the chemical bond with oxide metals as well. The amt. of the surface active agent to be stuck is thereby increased by 1.5-3 times.
