摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the equipment space, shorten the length of vehicle body, and facilitate inspection of electric apparatuses by collectively arranging the electric apparatuses in arranging the apparatuses of an electric locomotive. CONSTITUTION:An electric locomotive mounts a pantagraph disconnecting switch 3, a vacuum circuit breaker 4, and an ac to dc converter 5 on the basis of a main transformer 2, and a main rectifier 6 is arranged on the locomotive together with the above apparatuses. Other electric apparatuses are collected in each block and arranged symmetrically about the main transfer, and inspection passages 20 are provided between these apparatuses. An interlock door 10 is provided at the entrance of a main passage 19 to form a high-pressure chamber. Thus, the length of vehicle body can be shortened, and inspection of the electric apparatuses becomes easier.
