    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of securing brake force more than 50% of that at normal time when a disc gets seized and having a simple structure for easy manufacturing and maintenance inspection. SOLUTION: This disc brake is provided with a joint for transmitting circumferential direction force of discs 6 and 8 to a rotary shaft 12 and allowing moving of the disc 8 along a shaft direction and a joint means for transmitting circumferential direction force of the disc 6 to the disc 8 and allowing relative moving between the discs 6 and 8 along the shaft direction. As a result, when the disc 6 gets seized, each one surface (two pairs of sliding contact surfaces in total) of the discs 6 and 8 comes into slidable contact with each other, and when the disc 8 gets seized, both surfaces of the disc 6 and one surface of the disc 8 (three pairs of sliding contact surfaces in total) come into slidable contact one another.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of using a high speed low torque-type motor even when a hoisting machine is installed on a lower part of a hoistway, and minimizing the hoisting machine. SOLUTION: The wire ropes 2a, 2b are connected to a car 1 at their one ends, the wire rope 2a is wrapped on a traction sheave 5 through the pulleys 3a, 4a, 4b, and the wire rope 2b is wrapped on the traction sheave 5 through a pulley 3b. The wire ropes 2a, 2b are integrated into one set and connected to a counter weight 7 at their other ends through a pulley 6. A motor 8 and a mechanical reduction gear 9 for driving the traction sheave 5 are installed on a lower part of a hoistway. A mechanical reduction gear mechanism formed by a helical gear device is mounted at a high speed stage side, and a mechanical reduction gear mechanism formed by a planatary gear device is mounted at a low speed stage side, inside of the mechanical reduction gear 9.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the weight and to enhance reliability in strength by a constitution wherein the fitting part of a holder on the side subjected to tensile force of a leaf spring, upon attraction of an armature to a permanent magnet, retracts farther to the holder side than the side subjected to compression force of the leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:End face 21A at side A of a holder 21 where the average stress of a leaf spring 19, produced upon attraction of an armature to a permanent magnet, is plus(tension) is retracted farther by an amount of Z to the holder 21 side than the end face 21B at side B where the average stress is minus (compression). Consequently, effective length at side A is longer than that at side B and the tensile stress decreases correspondingly. Since imbalance between tensile stress and compression stress is eliminated at side B, no margin of strength is required at side B and thereby the leaf spring 19 can be reduced in size and weight resulting in the reduction of the size and the weight of the print head. When there is no dimensional restriction, reliability in strength is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To attain uniform density as the result of printing even when a round platen is used, by a method wherein an impact force of wires arranged in the fore end of a printing head is made strong sequentially from the center to the ends of an array of the wires by adjustment of a spring or adjustment of a cancel time of a magnetic force by an electromagnetic coil. CONSTITUTION:When a current flows through a coil 2, a magnetic force by a magnet 1 is canceled, a strain energy stored in a spring 6 is released partially, an armature 5 is detached from a core 3 with a point S on a yoke 4 used as a fulcrum, and the fore end of a wire 10 projects from a fitting hole of a bearing 11 bonded to the fore end of a printing head nose part 7 and strikes paper 15 through the intermediary of an ink ribbon 16. Thereby an impact force Fimp is generated. The impact force Fimp can be varied by varied a tightening amount D of a screw 8 and adjusting a spring force F. On a flat platen 17, a screw 7 is tightened so that the impact force be increased sequentially toward end wires 10b with the impact force Fimp of a central wire 10a used as a basis. In a printer wherein a round platen 19 is used, the impact force Fimp of all the wires can be adjusted to be uniform substantially, a density difference is eliminated and thus excellent printing can be attained.
