    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module stably fixing an optical component to a supporting member.SOLUTION: An optical component (56) of an optical module (10) has a coupling surface (62) opposed to an optical connector (70), and a pair of side surfaces (60, 60) separating from each other in a direction orthogonal to a connecting direction of the optical connector (70). A supporting member (50) has a pair of side walls (54, 54) respectively opposed to the side surfaces (60, 60) of the optical component (56), and recessed/projecting portion (84, 84) of a recessed-shape or a projecting-shape toward the side surfaces (60, 60) of the optical component (56). The side surfaces (60, 60) of the optical component (56) is fixed to the side walls (54, 54) of the supporting member (50) through second bonding portions (82, 82), and the second bonding portions (82, 82) are adhered to the surfaces of the recessed/projecting portions (84, 84) of the side walls (54, 54).
