And thereafter, this fluororesin is maintained for a determined time in the second atmosphere having a temperature, of 150 deg.C or above, or above a crystal dispersion temperature (αdispersion temperature) and below a decomposition temperature of this fluororesin.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin powder having excellent frictional resistance by irradiating a fluoro resin in a state heated to its melting point or higher in the absence of oxygen with an ionizing radiation in a specified dosage and mechanically grinding the resin. SOLUTION: A fluoro resin in a state heated to a temperature 10-30 deg.C-above the crystalline melting point of the resin in the absence of oxygen is irradiated with an ionizing radiation selected, among γ-rays, electron beams and X-rays in a dosage of 1 kGy to 10MGy, and the resin is ground by e.g. mechanical grinding to obtain a modified fluoro resin powder having a particle diameter of 1 mm or below. 1-100 wt.% this powder is mixed with an unmodified polymeric material or an inorganic material, and the mixture is molded to obtain a molded product having a coefficient of friction at most 1/2 of that of a molded product molded from a mixture free from the resin powder. Materials used to form the modified fluoro resin powder include tetrafluoroethylene polymers, tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymers and tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymers.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified fluoro resin powder having excellent frictional resistance by using a modified fluoro resin having a specified or lower melting point and a specified or smaller heat of crystallization. SOLUTION: A fluoro resin in a state heated to a temperature 10-30 deg.C above its melting point in the absence of oxygen is irradiated with an ionizing radiation selected among γ-rays, electron beams, Xrays, neutron rays, etc., in a dosage of 1 kGy to 10 MGY. The resin is then mechanically ground to obtain a modified fluoro resin powder having a mean particle diameter of 1 mm or below, a melting point of 325 deg.C or below and a heat of crystallization of 40 J/g or below. The fluoro resins used include tetrafluoroethylene polymers, tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymers and tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymers. Next, the resin powder alone or together with an unmodified polymeric material or an inorganic material is pressure-molded to obtain a molded product having a content of the resin powder of 1-100 wt.%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the reliability to predict a residual life by using an accelerated deterioration method by oxygen pressurization, a dosimeter material which can measure a wide range of doses and can measure a long-period cumulative doses, and a method for non-destructive diagnosis of deterioration. CONSTITUTION:The initial data on the electrical characteristics and physical characteristics of an org. material to be used in radiation environment are recognized by using the accelerated deterioration method by the oxygen pressurization in which the radiation of a low dose rate in the actual use environment is simulated. The deterioration of the org. material is then non- destructively diagnosed by using the dosimeter material which can make measurements from the low to the high doses, can be freely carried to the outside of a controlled area, and can measure the cumulative dose for a long period of time, for example, an alanine dosimeter material prepd. by compounding alanine crystal powder which is a kind of amino acids with rubber or resin as the dosimeter material which is not activated. Finally, the residual life is predicted by collating the recognized values and the diagnosed value.
