    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bury an edge part deeper than a surrounding side plate by constituting a side plate by exit and entrance of a car and side plates and arranging a stainless end plate on an intermediate part of the side plate. SOLUTION: At a location opposed to exit and entrance of an elevator car, side plates divided into three plates in the horizontal direction are erected. The side plates are fastened and fixed with bolts and nuts 5 in a hole part punched in bent parts at left and right tip parts. A side plate located at a left and right direction center part is constituted of side plates divided into three plates in the vertical direction. The side plates are fastened and fixed with bolts in a hole part punched in bent parts at the upper and lower tip parts. A side plate 4b is installed so that the surface of the side plate 4b may be mounted at a location retreated by a gap g1 from the surface of the side plate located at the surrounding. On the surface of the side plate 4b, a stainless end plate 6 whose dimensions in vertical and horizontal directions are the same as those of the side plate 4b is fastened and fixed with a flat head screw 7. The surface of the stainless end plate 6 is mounted at a location retreated by a gap g2 from the surface of the side plate located at the surrounding.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change the mounting position of a stopper in an elevator having the stopper on a mount hole provided in the vicinity of the middle of upper and lower guide devices of a frame by providing a plurality of stopper mount holes having an optional space corresponding to the increased number of weight blocks in the vertical direction of the frame. SOLUTION: A stopper 7 is required to be mounted within the range between the central height position of weight blocks 5 and the central position of upper and lower guide devices 4 in order to more effectively disperse a seismic load added from a balance weight 2 to a guide rail 1. Stopper mount holes are bored in the frame 3 of the balance weight at prescribed intervals in the height direction of the frame 3. When an additional weight block 5a is added to the balance weight 2 in the remolding of an elevator, the stopper 7 mounted on the bottom part of the stopper mount holes is once removed by loosening a bolt 8 in a construction site, and the stopper 7 is remounted on the stopper mount hole corresponding to the number of additional weight blocks 5a by the bolt 8.
