摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confinement rescue method for an elevator with no machine room and its device, allowing efficient, safe and economical confinement rescue from the elevator. SOLUTION: The confinement rescue method for the elevator to be driven by a winding machine 7 installed in an elevator shaft 1 allows the movement of an elevator car 4 by releasing a brake 7a from the outside of the elevator shaft 1. Rope gripping means 40 is mounted on a main rope 6, a cord 41 is connected to the gripping means 40, and a pulley 42 is provided in the elevator shaft 1. The cord 41 is pulled from a opening portion of an elevator hall door 31a via the pulley 42 to the outside of the elevator shaft 1 and the cord 41 is tensed while releasing the brake 7a of the winding machine 7 using brake releasing means 13, thereby allowing the movement of the elevator car 4 with the movement of the main rope 6. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-crime device for elevator which can preclude any person with intention from intruding into a certain specified floor using an elevator car upon severing the signal line. SOLUTION: An anti-crime device of an elevator is equipped with a change- over switch NS to make changing-over between prohibition of a car traveling to a specified floor and its admission, a travel prohibiting means NST which is connected with the switch NS through a signal line 1 and prohibits the car traveling to the specified floor when the switch NS is turned to the prohibit side, another signal line 2 located near the signal line 1, a wire severance detecting means SK to detect severance of the signal line 2, and a car stopping means TS to make impossible for the car to rise and fall when the detecting means SK detect any wire severance, wherein an eventual intruder can not easily judge which signal line 1 or 2 he should cut for disengaging the effect of the travel prohibiting means NST owing to provision of the line 2 in the neighborhood of the line 1. If he cuts the line 2, the severance detecting means SK is deenergizing to cause closing of the normally closed contact SKb, and the car is no longer able to rise or fall.
