    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer plate for a plate type heat exchanger, with improved handleability in assembling or decomposition.SOLUTION: The heat transfer plate for a plate type heat exchanger includes: a plurality of linear recesses and protrusions which are formed by press molding on both surfaces of a substantially rectangular metal plate to be inclined with respect to a virtual line extending in a width direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction; and an annular gasket groove where a gasket is arranged to form a flow path in an area including the linear recesses and protrusions. The gasket groove includes a pair of straight parts along both edges of the metal plate in the width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The linear recesses and protrusions within a predetermined range along each straight part inside in the width-direction are inclined opposite to those in the symmetrical positions inside in the width-direction based on the boundary of the predetermined range inside in the width-direction.

The flow passage where the heat exchanging medium or heat exchanged medium is made to flow is formed between the heat transfer plates. In each of the heat transfer plates, a regulation projection for regulating displacement of the gasket is formed between the gasket fitting groove and the recess located in the position different from the position supported with respect to the adjacent heat transfer plate.
