    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric composite connector the strength of which is enhanced by molding a ground plate integrally with a housing.SOLUTION: The photoelectric composite connector is fitted in the fitting part of a mating connector and fitted thereto thus constituting a photoelectric conversion device. The photoelectric composite connector has a housing molded integrally with a ground plate, and a lock hole is formed by providing a notch at a part of the ground plate exposed from the housing. When the photoelectric composite connector is fitted in the fitting part of a mating connector, an elastic protrusion provided in the fitting part is engaged with the lock hole of the photoelectric composite connector thus locking the fitting of a photoelectric composite conversion device and the mating connector.
