    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high load combustion while the generation of NOx is being suppressed, and to greatly reduce a boiler furnace part while the heat load of a local heat transfer surface is suppressed to a specified value by a method wherein heat water-tube insertion type combustion chambers are disposed in a plurality of stages in series and the air ratio of a burner at each stage of a plurality of stages is respectively changed. SOLUTION: A heat collection water-tube insertion type combustion chamber 5b wherein a number of heat collection water-tubes are closely disposed and inserted in a combustion reaction part 1 to effect combustion of combustion gas is provided. The heat collection water- tube insertion type combustion chambers 5b are disposed in a plurality of stages in series and the air ratio of a burner 6 in each stage of a plurality of stages is respectively changed. A heat insulation cover is arranged on the outer surface of each heat collection water-tube or a groove or a fin is formed on the inner surface of the heat collection water-tube. Further, the stages of the heat collection water-tube insertion type combustion chamber 5b are vertically or horizontally arranged. The direction of the burner 6 in each stage is arranged in a direction crossing the velocity of flow of gas of a main exhaust gas flow passage at right angles or facing the velocity of flow of the gas. The area of the main exhaust gas flow passage is regulated so that the velocity of flow of the main exhaust gas flow passage is adjusted to 1/2-1/5 of the injection speed of the burner 6 at each stage of a second stage and following.

    • PURPOSE:To restrict an increasing of occurrence of NOx, provide a stable characteristic of flame and improve a power generating efficiency by a method wherein a combustion flame within a combustion chamber and/or a wall of the combustion chamber is provided with a heat transfer surface of a heat exchanger with supplied air for a combustion device other than combustion air acting as cooling fluid for use in cooling the wall. CONSTITUTION:An air-cooled heat exchanger 4 is installed within a gas turbine combustion device 1. Air supplied from a compressor 2 to the combustion device 1, is distributed into combustion air for getting a stable combustion under an appropriate air ratio in its function and other excessive air (corresponding to air cooling a wall of a prior art gas turbine or diluted air) and its ratio is about 55:45. This diluted air may act as cooling fluid for cooling the combustion flame and restricting a thermal NOx. The air of which temperature shows a high value is mixed with combustion discharged gas at a rear part of the combustion device 1, becomes a desired TIT and is fed into a turbine 3. Fine tubes with diameter of about 3mm are applied in the heat exchanger 4.
