    • PURPOSE:To form Nb3Sn with a good yield without leaving unreacted Nb and to improve critical current of Nb3Sn super conductive wire, by suitably controlling Sn quantity in used bronze, at manufacturing said wire by bronze method. CONSTITUTION:Circumferences of plural cores 1, 1', 1'' made of Nb or Nb alloy having 0.3-5mum diameter are surrounded with a bronze 2 as matrix contg. 12.8-15.0wt% Cu, 0.05-2.0wt% Sn or further one kind among Ti, Zr, Hf, Ta and having 3.1-4.5 bronze ratio exhibited by a formula (1) to obtain a primary element wire 3, and it is wire drawn to hexagonal shape. The plural wires are bundled while aligning, composited together with a barrier material 4 composed of one kind among Ta, Mo, V and the circumferential Cu stabilizing material 5, wire drawn again so that about 1mum Nb core diameter is attained to obtain unreacted bronze method superconductive wire having about 0.3mm diameter. This is heated at 680 deg.C for 5-300hr to completely convert unreacted Nb to Nb3Sn, and superconductive wire having a large critical current density is manufacture.

    • PURPOSE:To produce a superconductive wire of a small wire diameter which obviates the rupture and exposure of core materials by forming holes at equal intervals to a billet having a circular section around the central axial line thereof, inserting the core materials into the respective holes and subjecting the billet to extrusion and area reducing working. CONSTITUTION:The three holes 2a... are formed to the billet 1 made of copper, etc. to have the circular section around the central axial line thereof and (number of holes of the inside layer + 6) pieces of holes 2b... are so formed around the same in such a manner that the adjacent holes are equally spaced. The core materials consisting of the composite bars, etc. formed by embedding the many Nb cores into Cu-Sn bronze matrixes are inserted into the respective holes 2a, 2b. The billet 1 inserted with the core materials is then subjected to extrusion, then to area reducing working to form a wire. The wire is subjected to a diffusion heat treatment. The superconductive wire of the small diameter which obviates the disconnection arising from the rupture of the central core material and the exposure of the core materials is obtd. by the above- mentioned treatment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector, which constitutes a wire coating layer by two layers, which can prevent leading to a connection terminal from between these two layers of water even when its infiltration is generated by damaging the layer in an outer side. SOLUTION: This connector has a connection terminal connecting a wire, housing inserting the connection terminal and a cylindrical waterproofing seal 11 inserting the connection terminal connecting the wire to water-tightly seal between the housing and the wire connected to the connection terminal. Here, the waterproofing seal 11, having a circular annular stepped surface 13 in an internal peripheral surface, comprises a relatively internal diametric large/small part, circular annular irregularity parts 14a, 14b are provided in the internal peripheral surface in both sides of the stepped surface 13, the connected wire is inserted to the waterproofing seal 11 from an internal diametric large part toward small part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation for fitting a seal ring, by protruding the terminal housing section out of a sheath tip by the region more than halfway around the perimeter to release at least a part of the perimeter from the sheath. SOLUTION: In the water-proof connector, the tip perimeter 1A of a terminal housing section 1 is protruded out of the tip 3A of a sheath section 3 by a part of the tip perimeter, or preferably the region more than halfway around the perimeter. In other words, a part 31 of the sheath 3 is protruded out of the tip 1B of the terminal housing section 1 to protect a locking section 12, but, in most of the sheath section 3, the tip 3A is recessed backward of the tip 1B of the terminal housing section 1. Therefore, the tip perimeter 1A of the terminal housing section 1 is protruded out of the tip 3A of the sheath section 3 by the region more than halfway around the perimeter. In order to protrude at least a part of the tip perimeter 1A out of the tip 3A of the sheath 3, a part of the tip 3A is recessed backward of 1A of the terminal housing section 1 and also the tip perimeter is made longer to protrude out of the tip 3A.
