摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling accuracy for a cam shaft by positioning and holding two plate cams of different phases without deviation and by a prescribed phase difference when assembling a cam assembly. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first cam positioning jig 24 for providing a positioning hole 31 having substantially the same shape as an external shape of the first plate cam 10 according to the shape and a second cam positioning jig 25 for providing a positioning hole 31 having substantially the same shape as an external shape of the second plate cam 11. In the cam positioning jigs 24 and 25, the positioning holes 31 each other are arranged at relative positions which are made to have different directions by an angle αaccording to the prescribed phase difference of both the plate cams 10 and 11 and are fixed to a positioning table 26. When the first and second plate cams 10 and 11 are fitted into each of the positioning holes 31 and the cam shaft 12 is force-fitted into a shaft insertion hole 22 when assembling the cam assembly C, both of the plate cams 10 and 11 are assembled at the relative positions on the cam shaft separated in an angle α peripheral direction by a mutual phase difference.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lowering of inner diameter accuracy of a shaft through hole and to eliminate the dislocation of a contact position with a follower to improve operating accuracy by suppressing the occurrence of a rupture face at a punched cut end when punching a cam piece. SOLUTION: A metallic machined material B of thick plate shape is pressed by a punch 10 and a plate presser member 11 while being received and pressed by a die 12 and a reverse presser member 13 so as to be cut into a circular cam shaped outline. When pressing the machined material B by the punch 10 and reverse presser member 13 during cutting, a cylindrical projecting part 16a is formed in conformity to a recess 10a of the punch 10, while the plate face is punched by a projection 13b of the reverse presser member 13 to provide a shaft through hole 17. At the same time, a recessed part 16b is formed directly at the back of the projecting part 16a by a projection 13a to impede the deviation of wall thickness toward a tip position 16c of an extended part 16.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the displacement of a single plate cam from occurring so as not to lower the accuracy of assembling a laminated cam to a camshaft in the laminated cam assembled by superposing a plurality of metallic plate cams. SOLUTION: Each of plate cams 14 for superposing is formed in a circular arc cam form which has the same profile and a portion 16 extended outward from a shaft insert hole 15 in one direction, a protrusion 16a is built on one plate face of the extended portion 16, and a recess 16b at its just back portion of the other face. The laminated cam 10 (11) is prepared by fitting the protrusion 16a into the recess 16b each other, superposing the plate cams 14 and aligning the outer peripheral face (m) of each cam and the inner face (n) of its hole 15 without misalignment and assembling into an integrated cam.
