    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane type part (40) of a gas turbine engine (10) including a inner curved member (70) for enhancing film cooling of the vane type part without having undesirable influence on the aerodynamic performance of the vane type part. SOLUTION: The vane type part includes a generally projection-shaped first side wall (44) joined in a front edge of the vane type part (48) and a generally recess-shaped second side wall (46) joined in a back edge of the vane type part (50). A plurality of cooling holes (80) extend between a inside cooling chamber (58) and a outer side of the second side wall (62). One of the cooling holes (82) extends from the cooling chamber to the inner curved member with a relatively shallow angle (ϕ) of fluid jetting to the outer surface of the vane type part.
