摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for repairing or reinforcing a jet pump riser pipe.SOLUTION: The repair 20 includes attaching two collars 20a1 to the riser pipe by using match drilling to drill holes through the collars and the riser pipe and by plugging the holes with expandable plugs. Support columns 20a4, 20a4', 20b4, 20b4' are attached to the collars. Brace supports 20a2, 20a2', 20a3 are slidably attached to the support columns. Gaps between the brace supports and the collars are then narrowed as ratchet bolts may apply a force that pulls downward on an upper collar and pulls upward on a lower collar, thereby exerting a compression force on the riser pipe.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce abrasion of a wedge rod inserted into a hole of a wedge.SOLUTION: A jet pump assembly includes a restrainer bracket having an upper bracket and a lower bracket connected to an inlet mixer. The wedge 200 can be provided between the upper bracket and lower bracket, and the wedge rod passes through a long hole 300 of the wedge. Both ends of the wedge rod are attached to the upper bracket and lower bracket. The restrainer bracket further includes a yoke-like member connected to a riser pipe surrounding the inlet mixer. The wedge 200 includes an inclined surface 275 configured to engage the restrainer bracket pad of the yoke-like member. The wedge can further includes an internal curved surface coming into contact with the wedge rod, and the internal curved surface may be a part of the insert which can be inserted into the wedge 200.

Maybe, the entrance mixer support medium may be used in place of the conventional set screw. The entrance mixer support medium stabilizes the movement and vibration of the entrance mixer when the BWR jet pump assembly operates in resistance to additional sideloading applied to the entrance mixer. In the entrance mixer support medium, the conventional restrictive tool bracket set screw does not have to be removed optionally.
