    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an indicator, that easily adheres to oral mucosa, has a proper viscosity in an oral cavity environment, can be properly spread between an oral mucosa surface and a denture base, and easily specifies an affected part.SOLUTION: The composition for an indicator which is used for detecting pressure points on denture includes: (A) a fatty acid ester having a melting point of 30 to 50°C; (B) a water-soluble high polymer; and (C) a metal oxide. More preferably, the composition includes: (A) 40 to 95 wt.% of the fatty acid ester having a melting point of 30 to 50°C; (B) 1 to 59 wt.% of the water-soluble high polymer; and (C) 0.1 to 50 wt.% of the metal oxide.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental root canal-filling composition which is generally formed in a point shape, has high strength, is not easily broken, is properly deformed so as to afford easy operativity for filling in a root cavity, has more excellent wettability and adhering properties with a root canal-filling sealer than those of a conventional filling material for root canal currently used for a root canal treatment, and is less deteriorated by sterilization, chemical disinfection or the like.
      SOLUTION: The dental root canal-filling composition is constituted of (A) one or more kinds of polyolefin resins selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, and a copolymer of polyethylene and polypropylene, (B) a styrene block copolymer, (C) one or more kinds of thermoplastic resins selected from ester gum, rosin, an alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin, a terpene resin, an aliphatic petroleum resin, and (D) one or more kinds of inorganic fillers selected from zinc oxide, barium sulfate, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide, ytterbium fluoride, barium glass, and aluminosilicate glass.
