    • PURPOSE: To reduce the wear of a vane for a centrifugal blower, by dividing the vane into an inner and an outer vanes and providing a gap between them to allow some of gas to pass through the gap, so that the quantity of dust passing on the tip of the outer vane, at which the circumferential speed is the highest, is decreased.
CONSTITUTION: A vane 4 is divided into an inner vane 4a and an outer vane 4b. The inner end of the outer vane 4b is placed upstream to the outer end of the inner vane 4a as to the direction of gas flow, and a prescribed gap G is defined between the inner end of the outer vane and the outer end of the inner vane. The density of wearing dust contained in the gas becomes high near the front of the inner vane 4a as the gas flows on the front, so that the gas with the high density of dust passes through the gap G and the gas with the low density of dust flows on the front of the outer vane 4b. For that reason, the wear of the outer end b" of the outer vane 4b is minimized despite the high circumferential speed of the gas at the outer end b". The wear of the inner vane 4a due to the passing of the gas with the high density of dust does not matter, because the circumferential speed on the vane is low.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the equipping cost of an apparatus for absorbing hydrogen chloride in the exhausted gas of a combustion furnace through the mechanism wherein the heated gas to be treated is passed between a large number of particles descending along the surface of a tray of inclined grate structure and the like and an absorbent supplying apparatus, a particle exhausting apparatus and the like are installed. CONSTITUTION:A large number of particles 5 with high spherical degree are descended from a hopper 1 of a gas absorbing apparatus positioned in front of a electric dust collecting apparatus 11 along the surface of a grate like or net like zigzag tray 2, 3 inclined at about 20-25 deg. while the thickness of particle layer is maintained and high temperature gas to be treated containing hydrogen chloride is introduced from an inlet 9 and a absorbing liquid such as calcium hydroxide suspension and the like is supplied from a nozzle along the same direction of the gas. The absorbing liquid is contacted with particles 5 and instantaneously evaporated to absorb hydrogen chloride effectively. The exhausted gas is rectified through the particles 5 and flowed to a cottrell 11, on the other hand, the particles 5 are exhausted through a feeder while reaction products are reparated by abrasion. As a result, the cottrell size can be reduced and the equipment cost is drastically reduced compared to conventional methods.

    • PURPOSE:To perfectly absorb treat exhaust gases by forming a main reaction part into a cylindrical shape, and forming the throttling parts formed finer than the diameter of the cylindrical part in plural places of said barrel part. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas is supplied from the duct 10 in the lower part of a cylindrical main reaction part 1 having plural throttling parts in the intermediate part, and an absorbent such as slaked lime is supplied from an absorbent supply port 4. The exhaust gas contg. the absorbent is introduced from the lower part of the main reaction part 1. In the cylindrical part of the main reaction part 1, the velocity of the gas lowers and in the throttled parts, the velocity of gas rises. The change in the velocities produces vortexes; moreover, in the main reaction part, the absorbent assumes a floating state, hence it contacts the exhaust gas efficiently. Thence, in the secondary reaction part 2 of a cyclone shape, secondary absorption reaction is effected and the product of reaction is captured, after which the exhaust gas is released from a chimney 9 into the atmosphere via a dust collector 6.

    • PURPOSE:To absorb the noxious component of the gas into the liquid medicine for cleaning the gas, by introducing the gas containing the noxious component to be treated into the vertical type absorbing vessel, so as to contact in the counter current manner with the spherical packings on whose surface the liquid medicine is adhering. CONSTITUTION:Many spherical packings 9 are packed in the vertical type absorbing vessel 1, and the liquid medicine is scattered from upside so as to adhere on the surface of packings and also flow down in the vessel 1. The gas containing such noxious component as hydrogen chloride, etc., is introduced from the inlet port 2 into the vessel 1. The noxious component reacts on the liquid medicine, and the reaction product is formed on the surface of the packings 9. This product is peeled off by the stirrer 6, and the cleaned packings 9 are lifted up by the screw conveyer 11 so as to return to the upper zone of the vessel 1. The rake 4 is attached to the same axis 5 as the shaft of the screw conveyer 11, for uniformly raking the surface of the packings 9; hereby, the liquid medicine uniformly adheres on the surface of packings 9, so that the removal of the noxious component of the gas is made efficient.
