SOLUTION: The microbubble generation apparatus 10 includes: a gas-liquid mixing means 14 for mixing a gas with a liquid to form a gas-liquid two-phase flow; microbubble producing means 20, 50, 56, 58 for generating microbubbles in the gas-liquid two-phase flow to produce a microbubble-containing liquid and making the microbubble-containing liquid discharge from the gas-liquid mixing means 14 to the outside; and a collision means 44 for making a pressurized liquid collide against the microbubble-containing liquid discharged from the gas-liquid mixing means 14 to the outside by the microbubble producing means 20, 50, 56, 58.
