    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time for repairing a restorable trouble in RAID devices when data are mirrored between the RAID devices, while reducing input/output frequencies for restoration.
      SOLUTION: In this storage system, a plurality of RAID devices are connected one another via a network and data is mirrored and multiplexed between the RAID devices into primary data and secondary data. When a trouble of a restorable disc device occurs in the device with RAID configuration, data for a disc device corresponding to the troubled disc device is requested to the mirrored RAID device and the transferred data is written in a spare disc device for restoration. During repairing the data, the access right of a RAID-configuration disc device group and the access right of individual devices are exclusively controlled to input/output the primary data.
