    • PURPOSE:To prevent a talking area from becoming small by raising an alarm by a buzzer or displaying an alarm on a display panel so as to increase the gain when a telescopic antenna is provided to a telephone set main body and the antenna is not fully pulled out. CONSTITUTION:A feeding terminal 12 having a larger outer diameter than an outer diameter of an antenna 15 is provided to an upper part of the thin and long antenna main body 15 in a telescopic antenna 10 and a feeding terminal 13 of the similar diameter thereto is provided to a lower part. Moreover, a sleeve 30 is penetrated through the main body 15 and a slit is provided to the sleeve 30 and feeding terminals 12, 13 are tightly fitted thereon. A projection 45 made of an insulator is provided to a rear side of the feeding terminal 13 and when the telescopic antenna 10 is sufficiently telescoped, the projection 45 is engaged with a switch 40 and the switch 40 is connected to ground to activate a logic circuit 8-1 being a component of a control circuit 8 and when the antenna 10 is not sufficiently telescoped, a CPU 8-2 is used to activate a buzzer 6 and a display panel 7.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the quadrature demodulation circuit where optimum and stable demodulation characteristics are always obtained. CONSTITUTION:An input FM modulated wave signal has the phase shifted by a phase shift circuit 2, and the output and the input FM modulated wave signal are compared with each other by a phase comparison circuit 3. The output is smoothed by a low pass filter 4 to generate a demodulated signal. A low pass filter 7 smooths the output or the row pass filter 4 to output an average demodulated signal. The average demodulated signal level at the time when the extent of phase shift of the phase shift circuit 2 is 90 deg. in the case of the input FM modulated wave having a center frequency f0 is denoted as Ref. An amplification circuit 8 compares the prescribed value Ref and the average demodulated signal with each other, and the phase shift circuit 2 is so adjusted that the difference is 0. Since the phase comparison circuit 3 generates first and second phase difference detection signals which have opposite characteristics so as to be symmetrical with a prescribed level as the reference when the phase difference between both signals is 90 deg., these generated signals are averaged by an average circuit 6, and the output of this circuit 6 is used as the reference level Ref of the amplification circuit 8.
