    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and detach a leaf spring type clip without moving connected optical connectors (two abutted and connected optical connectors).
      SOLUTION: The clip elastically holds the connected optical connectors with projected curved pieces on both ends of a strip flat part. A pair of open/close pieces 13, 14 of which the intermediate part is connected by a rotary shaft 12, have operation parts 15, 16 on one end side and working parts 17, 18 on the other end side. Each of the working parts 17, 18 has a clip engagement part 21 at the end of an arm 20 extending in the longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft at a position off the rotary shaft. The clip engagement parts 21 have projected parts 21a which are engaged with the curved and recessed parts of the two curved projected pieces of the clip respectively. Even when a space in the direction perpendicularly intersecting with the flat plate part of the clip which holds the connected optical connector is small, the attachment and detachment jobs are performed by engaging the projected parts 21a of the clip engagement part 21 with the curved and recessed parts of the curved projected pieces of the clip.
