    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe with high strength which is a heat pipe including a wick sintered on the inner surface of a container. SOLUTION: This heat pipe comprises the wick 2 provided on the inner surface of the sealed container 1 by sintering and a condensable working fluid sealed in the sealed container 1. The sealed container 1 is formed of copper or a copper alloy, and subjected to plastic deformation processing for refining the metallic structure on at least the outer surface side after sintering the wick 2 on the inner surface in a porous structure, and the working fluid is sealed in a degassed state of the container.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skimming device for an aluminum extrusion press which can automatically remove aluminum scum without the help of a worker and the damage caused to a stem, thereby requiring no skilled labor, decreasing working load and enabling the reduction of production time of an electric cable and a cost thereof. SOLUTION: In the aluminum extrusion press which forms an aluminum sheath layer on the periphery of a shielding layer of an electric cable by continuous extrusion, stem 10 is held from the peripheral direction between system holders 12 and a tip of a lower edge body 16 is inserted between a part of aluminum scum 14 adhering like a band on the peripheral surface of a tip of the stem 10 and a periphery of the stem 10, so that the part of the aluminum scum 14 is made to float. The part of the aluminum scum 14 made to float from the periphery of the stem 10 is cut with a upper edge body 20 and the aluminum scum 14 is taken off from the periphery of the stem 10 by moving a cramp part 22 gripping both end parts 14a, 14a of the separated aluminum scum 14 away from the periphery of the stem 10.
