    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat heat pipe which improves the reflux property of a working fluid and also improves the transportation property by enlarging the evaporation area of the working fluid.SOLUTION: The flat heat pipe 7 transports heat by working fluid which evaporates by being heated and radiates heat and condenses. To form a wick 5, a bundle 2 of fine lines with many bundled fine lines 1 is formed by twisting them around an axis thereof into a bundle, a plurality of bundles are bundled together, and space continuous in the longitudinal direction of the bundles 2 of fine lines is created between the adjacent bundles 2 of fine lines. The wick 5 is extended along the overall length of a container 3 not to block space which serves as an evaporation passage 8 in a state in contact with both the upper and lower faces inside the container 3 which is made flat and is charged with working fluid. Any part of the contact part between any of bundles 2 of fine lines, which form the wick 5, and the container 3, is fixed by sintering along the overall length of the longitudinal direction of the container 3.
